I don't know about that anymore...

FBI Raids Hillary's Warehouse in Whitewater Deja Vu - 06/24/02

An excerpt:

The FBI raid may also be a sign that the reported no prosecution deal for the Clintons, demanded by Democrat leaders as the price for President Bush getting some of his legislative agenda implemented, is beginning to unravel - since Democrats seem to have kept little if any of their part of the bargain.

They may just be busy sifting through the papers. The great thing about this one is it is a case of the Dems eating their own, no VRWC involved. Peter Paul is ready to roll over on Hillary for immunity.

Let me guess; she will donate it all to the Clinton Defense Fund or the Clinton Library.

Reversing course... On Thursday, Dunn told the New York Post that Clinton "has no plans to return the money at this time."... During her 2000 Senate bid, Waksal pumped $26,000 into the soft money account the DSCC set up for Clinton. He also chipped in the maximum allowable $2,000 to her election campaign account...

Do I sense a slight weakening in the pro-Hillary! media camp? AP is usually hard-line liberal and very soft on the Clintons. Maybe it's just wishful thinking.

Let me tell you how to "return" funds. You write a check to the same bogus name that gave you the money. You put the check in an envelope addressed to the same bogus address the bogus name gave you. You put the envelope in the outgoing mail basket. The envelope goes to the Post Office. After many days, the Post Office returns the envelope because you did not put enough postage on it. You run the envelope through your issue resolution group. They eventually generate a new envelope with enough postage on it. They may even put the check into this envelope. The envelope goes back to the Post Office. The Post Office tries to deliver this envelope. 90% end up in the Dead Letter Office. 5% are delivered but they are empty. 5% are delivered with the check in them. The bogus name tries to cash the check. Sorry, the "cash within thirty days" caution on the check has been exceeded. So, in the next bank account reconcilliation, the returner picks the cash back up from overdue checks not cashed. I'll gaurantee that is what happens.

Seems like they were perfectly legal donations done before he became a crook. I just wonder if she sold any stock. Ah, but it is in a blind trust...wink! wink!. She is good friends with that dastardly Martha!

My guess, a numbered account at Credit-Suisse. I'm (just) guessing that Marc Rich has influence there.

A couple of hours ago, she wasn't giving the money back, now she is.

Big deal, $30k or so. She reported 10's of millions during the last election.

$30k is chump change, probably about Crusty and crews deodorant bill for a month.
