The headline should read:
20 Years After Retirement, Cronkite Loses His Mind.Or something like that.

Aunt Walter hasn't been the same since Boner Bill grew that big chubby post-impeachment on Cronkite's sailboat off Martha's Vineyard. Can somebody post a picture of that spectacle?

This dumbo "journalist" would have been put into his pisspile place by General Patton if he were around. So, he wants American reporters to be able to tell the enemy everything we are doing. Wally must be still living in the last century and I don't mean the 20th!

10/4! Those two really burned their bridges with me.

Cronkite was tapped by the government to come on via conelrad or whatever during the height of the cold war, to explain that we are all going to die shortly via horrific nuclear holocaust. The thinking went, his distinctive voice couldn't be imitated and everyone would know it's the real deal.

this is a denial of the free speech ...

There's a difference between free speech and supported free access. You are shooting your mouth off. Nobody is preventing it. That's free speech.

Yes, it's Walter's dim/libness that confirms he has no judgement so his opinions are worthless and wrong.

Is this what you desire?

As disgusting as that is, I think there was a picture with Bubba's unit jutting into the stiff headwind, confident in its primacy, setting its own sail from within Bill's dangerously stressed pants..
In this shot, Aunt Walter is blocking our view of Billy Blythe in full glory.
But thanks...it brought back fond memories of impeachments past....

"Would we all be so supportive of the government's position if Clinton were doing the same things?"
Your question presumes that GW Bush and 'his' government and Bill Clinton and 'his' government are/were somehow equal.
Bill Clinton was/is a classic sociopath, absorbed in self and self-agrandizement who chooses a sleazy life and calls it good. . .and sourrounds himself with sleazy, amoral people with motives of 'self'; similar to his own.
How can you even ask this question; when we know the basic premise of comparison informs us that there is no comparison between these two men or the people they incorporate into the body politic or into their lives. . .

It's been a total news blackout," he said in an interview with columnist Liz Smith.
Translation, There are no stories on how we are losing and how we are destroying Afghanistan.

He might prefer to pilot a Scud missle instead! Oh yeah! I forgot what side he was on. Thanks for reminding me.
