Good job Sabertooth

You're right Grampa Dave, the Inquirer reads as if they are reading freerepublic posts.

As Rush says "don't worry members of the media, we'll be right back with more show prep, in a moment" lol

Wow, great post. Impressive detective work and deductive reasoning. If they were recruited by al Fuqre, that'd fit in perfectly with the profile I did of them before they were caught.

Your ought to publish it. It stands a considerably better chance of being right than the crackpot theories that the mainstream media is throwing at us : 5 Percent, Gulf War Syndrome, anger OVER the Gulf War, terrorizing his ex-wife - the REST of the country was just collateral terror??

Belated BUMP. (can't BELIEVE I didn't see this yesterday)

"About the best news in the article is that the Islamics are as busy killing each other off as trying to kill us."

Yeah, but they're only killing off Muslims who're against terrorism. That is bad. We need them to kill off other terrorists in gangland turf wars like they do in the PA controlled territories and Lebanon.

On the other hand, how does the Ahmadiyya sect fit in? None of the victims were Muslim.

Pardon my skepticism, but the 9/4 shooting in Maryland is a bit strange for more than one reason. There were multiple shots -- six -- at close range, and the accounts I've read state that all six hit the restaurant owner, and yet he returned to work within two weeks.

No one in the media has questioned whether the laptop in Muhammad's possession was the one stolen from the INS office in Tacoma on June 1 or 2 of this year, but they've obviously been encouraged to jump all over the stolen restaurant owner's laptop as most probably the same one. How very convenient, if the INS doesn't want to be further embarrassed...

Sabertooth, they are also trying to link another robbery, on September 15, outside yet another liquor store in Clinton, MD, to Muhammad and Malvo. The victim, who survived is named Muhammad Rashid, and the owner's name is Harpal Bhatti (a Pakistani name). The shootings, if verified, will most probably be jumped on by CAIR, etc., as proof that there is no Islamic motivation, but OTOH, I don't believe there is any love lost on non-black Muslims by the more extremist NOI members/sects, and mainstream Arab/Asian Muslims look with disdain on what they call "Nation," declaring them to be "not Muslims." (That does not, however, prevent Saudi Arabia and other surrogates from training and using black American Imams to further the Wahhabi cause...)

A 2nd Clinton shooting may link to sniper

On Friday, police in Montgomery County, Md., linked the pair to a Sept. 14 attack outside a Maryland beer and wine store. Store employee Rupinder Oberoi, 22, was injured in that shooting at Hillandale Beer and Wine in Silver Spring.

The shooting is the earliest documented attack in the Washington-area shooting rampage, which was thought to have begun Oct. 2. Montgomery County police spokesman Sgt. Derek Baliles said the sniper task force linked the shooting based on a "similarity of circumstances" and evidence confirming Muhammad's 1990 Chevrolet Caprice was in the Washington area Sept. 14.

< -snip- >

Employees at the YMCA in Silver Spring recalled seeing Muhammad and Malvo several times, starting in late August or early September.

Most recently, the pair visited the gym on Oct. 22, in the hours after bus driver Conrad Johnson was slain, and again the next day, hours before their arrests at a rest area near Frederick, Md.

They may not. All I'm pointing out is an avenue of inquiry.

With all of the stories about the killings being clustered around his ex-wife, it seems of interest that they are clustered more nearly to the Ahmadiyya mosque, an Islamic sect that has condemned the 9/11 terrorists of whom John Allen Muhammad spoke in support.

The restaurant victim was shot with a 22 pistol not the 223.

If his computer was not the one in the Caprice, why is he getting such a hard time from the cops about getting back that computer or even any comments on it. If the computer was used by these murderers, the cops can say, it is being held potential evidence.

Since Muhammad used the laptop (and several witnesses have reported that he did), it, and whatever data trail it contains, is in itself potential evidence, no matter who the rightful owner is. They won't be returning to anyone, anytime soon.

So, several of the shootings were within a certain distance of a certain mosque. What proof is there that they had any connection to that mosque or to al Fuqra? Those same shootings have thousands of businesses and the like in common, until you present evidence there's no reason to single out the mosque or al Fuqra.

Speculations as to why the snipers chose the DC area have ranged from Al Qaeda diversions, to possible connections with the Al Fuqra-related "Muslims of the Americas" compound in Red House, VA (two hours away), to an elaborate subterfuge to kill Muhammad's ex-wife, who lives about 30 miles away in Clinton Maryland, south of the Beltway.

Ping. Was this near Laurel, MD?
