Since we're having R&R in Iowa tdoay, And since Iowa does produce alot of
CORN.............
My first job was working in an orange juice factory, but I got canned...couldn't concentrate.
Then I worked in the woods as a lumberjack, but I just couldn't hack it, so they gave me the ax.
After that I tried to be a tailor, but I just wasn't suited for it - mainly because it was a sew-sew job.
Next I tried working in a muffler factory, but that was too exhausting.
Then I tried to be a chef. I figured it would add a little spice to my life but I just didn't have the thyme.
I attempted to be a deli worker, but any way I sliced it, I couldn't cut the mustard.
My best job was being a musician, but eventually I found I wasn't noteworthy enough.
I studied a long time to become a doctor, but I didn't have any patience.
Next was a job in a shoe factory. I tried, but I just didn't fit in.
I became a professional fisherman, but discovered that I couldn't live on my net income.
I managed to get a good job working for a pool maintenance company, but the work was just too draining.
So then I got a job in a workout center, but they said I wasn't fit for the job.
I finally got a job as a historian, until I realized there was no future in it.
My last job was working at Starbucks, but I had to quit because it was always the same old grind.

SOS is the Breakfast on the farm today. Pheasant Hunting is the activity of choice for the menfolk this weekend. The weather is beautiful, in the mid to high 60's, very little wind. Rain predicted for tonite.
The city cousins arrived before dawn, bearing Krispy Kremes. I am preparing a big pot of chilli for them to have for lunch. I'm not sure it even matters to them whether or not they have a successful hunt. I think they just really enjoy tromping thru the fields, up and down fence rows and waterways, hoping to scare up a nice rooster.

I have been to the Wall a number of times. I have never seen anything like it. No other Monument impressed me more.
Perhaps it is a generational thing. I felt that the wall brought the reality of all of the sacrifices closer to me. Most of the monuments in D.C. are things that you have to look up at. This one is different. The wall brings them to me.
Each time that I have been there be it at night or in the morning there is always a sort of special reverence present. I am always so moved! I can actually I think "feel" the Energy of the others who visit when I am there. It is to me like Holy Ground!
It is so different there. I understand that there are those who would criticize its design. I only know that when I go there I am in a place unlike any other.
Noone should pass on an oppurtunity to visit this Tribute. If you have been there then you know what I am talking about. When you do go there, you shall understand.!

"Never forget to Think Outside of the Box."
You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night. You pass by a
bus stop, and you see three people waiting for the bus:
1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect man (or) woman you have been dreaming about.
Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only
be one passenger in your car? Think before you continue reading. This is a
moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job
application.
You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you
should save her first, or you could take the old friend because he once
saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back.
However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.
The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up
with his answer.
WHAT DID HE SAY?
He answered: I would give the car keys to my old friend, and let him take
the lady to the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the
woman of my dreams.
