My main concern is his cache of biological weapons, plus his penchant for supporting and/or training clandestine terrorist groups. All the other reasons are cause for debate by non aggressive peoples (liberals, elitist media types, and other assorted toads) on the grounds of being judgmental and leaving us looking like imperialistic thugs. They have the right to debate, or even oppose if we attempt to assassinate any foreign leader, even with prima facie evidence. The target would be inconsequential, the goal unconscionable in its imperialist simplicity. We don't use imminent domain to conquer other countries, our conscience doesn't allow for expansionism anymore. This isn't a war to broaden our borders, its removing a threatening, and possible catastrophic attack from ever happening. Simply by adhering to civilized standards of lawful behavior.

Talking politics in mixed company has always been considered taboo, and still is in many quarters. However, when so inclined to participate, be informed, be magnanimous, and by all means, hide the smugness that comes from being informed. All most democrats believe is what their mind trust tells them. Which doesn't give them much ammo to debate with in the first place. Its our non political friends and family that need educating, not misinformed drones that were force fed propaganda since birth. You can prove them wrong easily, but to what end? They'll still be on the wrong side of common sense, no use wasting valuable insight on an ignorant audience.

Do not separate the war against Saddam from the war on terror. They are one and the same. To Ivan's list I would add the Al Qaeda plans and materials found in the Afghanistan caves. (A search on FreeRepublic can refresh your memory) Al Qaeda has BIG plans, including biological and nuclear weapons. It would be very unwise to believe that our two worse enemies would not cooperate to defeat their common foe, the United States. Saddam has been offered a peaceful way out just as the Taliban were. The choice is his. If he has nothing to hide then he needs to abide by the agreement HE signed. If he agrees, no war. We are letting him decide. If he refuses, then we have no choice but to believe he is hiding something and make the decision for Saddam. After 9/11 it is unacceptable that we would twiddle our thumbs and wait for them to come get us again.

The War in Iraq is no more a separate war than the 1943 War in Africa, or Italy, or War in Truk Island. This notion derives from our media's pillow talk with the Democrat fascists who chose to do nothing in the face of multiple bombings and the "It wasn't a missle" TWA 800 coverup.

Iraq is just another campaign in a very long war of annihilation against terrorists; we win it or our children's children will die or kneel to Mecca under the whip of some gasng of sick mullahs.
