If I remember correctly, I think the Columbia School of Journalism has us as a hate site.

There are many Freepers who do not WANT to be noticed. An example would be "Behind Liberal Lines," who. despite attempts to protect his anonymity, I could swear I saw at CPAC.
As for myself, I will remain a proud Freeper, although it isn't exactly something I would admit in mixed company. Some potential employers may react negatively, sad as that may sound.

Thanks for the ping nutmeg.
I was rather amused, yet unsurprised, by the author's fear of the fringe here at FR, yet held nary a qualm about the whackos from DUh.

This person that wrote this is distorting way beyond journalistic practices.
The article is simply not believable.

Yeah, isn't it interesting that DU is a liberal forum while FR is a right-wing forum?

I sent Net Nanny's president an email and I was amazed that I got a response (clearly a from him, a human being) as follows:
Tom,
Thank you for your comments. May I suggest you visit our website at the below link and submit both links for consideration - one for our 'can't go' listing, and one for our
'can go' listing.
The link is as below:

I have to admit I was impressed. I did what he said and submitted DU for Adult Content and Freerpublic for "good for all ages"
Lets see what happens after a few weeks

Are you sure?
I haven't found this there.

I know exactly what you mean, Clemenza. That's one of the downsides of living in the Blue Zone. Liberals here think their ideology is mainstream. We're written off as "right-wing kooks".

Speech is tolerated there that wouldn't be elsewhere. So, their biggest knock against us is that we're tolerant, and allow people to speak???
