Seriesly, though, if people stopped purchasing French products, and certain things became temporarily unavailable, I am certain that American entrepreneurs might soon fill the gap, that is if they weren't interfered with by government subsidies or something.

Well, if you love Bleu Cheese, according to Emril, Maytag Bleu Cheese is some of the best in the world, and it's from right here in the US.

California wines rival the best that France has to offer.

And as for autos, well, I suppose that I can force myself to do without a Peugot or Renault.

Mark

Why aren't we listing France as a terrorist nation? They certainly fit the description Bush gave in his Bush Doctrine.

Reminds me of what Hitler said to Churchill. "This time the Italians are on our side!" Churchill "Its only fair, last time we had to have them" Saddam Insane can have the French. Good riddance.

You are either with us, or you are with the terrorists. France evidently wants to be a terrorist state. The Paris bombing begins in 5 minutes.

The new French tank: 4 reverse speeds and 1 forward.

The forward speed is in case the attack comes from the rear.

Ok, if they are out...

We won't warn them if there is an impending attack.

That'll prolly change their tune after something nasty occurs.

California wines rival the best that France has to offer.

And Washington wines are better.

So what if France isn't in on the war on terror (I never knew they were in on any war, devout pacifists that they are)? It just means our won't have to take any defeats in that war -- from France surrendering to some half-drunk shoe bomber.

Chirac did NOT state per what you posted that France was abandoning the war on terror. He was stating that he feared other nations might exit. This whole thread is based on a false premise.

Aw, let them go. This is at least an innocuous way to blow off 'french' steam. I certainly have had MY share of 'french' steam.

the war with france should be very very interesting.

S-616 Le Triomphant
S-617 Le Temeraire

Let's just make sure that we sink these two SSBN's FIRST.
Call it an object lesson to France for being a completely irresposible civilized nation.

Chirac is a certified nutcake, what the hell is his problem? He only says he's against a war with Iraq, but he never gives a substantial reason. Are his pockets lined with money from Saddam? I'm beginning to think so.

I can't believe the French government isn't against his remarks or stance on the disarmament of Iraq? Saddam is a known killer. Something's up here, smells like a scandal or a secret alliance.

Ha! Yeah, and Australian wine is excellent too, and very cheap.
