FRENCH OPINION 34% - support US-led forces 25% - support Iraq

Some people have more class than defacing a cemetery.

Why don't we bring our boys home? Bury them in the UK and the US. This will open up a great deal of real estate ... perhaps enough to establish a new country - we'll call it Palestine! From what I hear, there are a number of "palestinians" in search of real estate.

We all need to bring our dead home from France immediately and without delay.

The US and UK governments owe us that much.

Sent this via USPS using 3 U.S. Flag stamps. Bastards!

French President Jacques Chirac
Monsieur Le President de la Republique
Palais de l'Elysee
55, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore
75008 Paris
FRANCE

Friday, March 21, 2003

Dear President Chirac,

Just a quick note to ensure you understand millions of Americans will never forget you and your country’s cowardice.

We have somewhat considered you an ally and a friend in the past. That perception has recently shifted for all times. And trust me, it is permanent.

I and millions of other Americans are now encouraging our elected officials, President Bush’s administration and business leaders to change their thinking about France. You will see in the future a new punitive approach towards our relationship with your country.

Don’t expect a public announcement regarding this shift. But it will happen.

With friends like France who needs enemies. We are quickly discovering who our real friends are. It is not you or your country. I imagine a few years down the road there will be hell to pay for your position in the history books and your political party’s future.

We’re tired of your slander and your weak knees. Thanks for all your help in the United Nations.

Yours truly,

There are more than 38,000 Australian soldiers buried in France.I wish every last one of them could be returned home.

This is the second time theres been an incident with war graves in France.Last time they were going to get rid of a cemetary to build an airport.

I am happy to hear about the public condemnation. But I'm still just as angry.

French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin has pleaded for trans-Atlantic tolerance after graffiti was daubed on a British war cemetery in northern France. Slogans reading "Death to Yankees" and "Rosbeefs (Brits) go home" were painted on the central memorial in Etaples, near the Channel port of Boulogne in northern France.

How typically French - the government eggs on these insane leftist "peace" protestors, openly encourages their anti-British, anti-American and anti-Semitic bile, and then when the activists predictably desecrate the graves of Britsh soldiers who gave their lives to free the French from German tyranny, they lecture US about tolerance.

We need to take notice - it's only a matter of time before this same scene is repeated at the American cemeteries in Normandy.

""This violation of a burial place - scandalous in itself - is an attack on the memory of the sacrifice made by the British and American soldiers who contributed to the liberation of our soil," said the local member of parliament, former Socialist arts minister Jack Lang." You got it WRONG, sumbich.

We didn't CONTRIBUTE to it - we LIBERATED your sorry ar$e$!

(And for this!?)

Who cares about the condemnation? Words are cheap, especially coming from the mouths of socialist scum like Chirac and de Villepin and their lackeys. Once I see some actual arrests, I might think the French are serious about dealing with this act.

I'm not holding my breath.

This tiff with France will blow over - do you really want to disturb them? Do we know it was French people who did this?
There is no excuse for the defacing the cemetary, but there is also no excuse for the congresswoman to use our dead heroes as a vehicle to get her name in the paper and further her political career. This kind of behavior on her part is the reason I have absolutely no respect for most politicians. They will do anything, say anything, and use any tragedy to further their own career.
Be upset with the vandals, but be upset with our own lawmaker who should be honoring these heroes - not using them to boost her tiny career.

"Saddam Hussein will win and spill your blood", one slogan read.

Another claimed the graves were "contaminating" French soil.

THe form of these exressions leaves no doubt in mind that this done by Muslims. But the "root (original) French" refuse to reign them in, so we view it as YOUR voice, France.
