If the horse was intoxicated, I could see that. But as long as the horse was sober, she was ok.

Did he get a little scented evergreen tree to hang on their tails at the end of each wash?

I never ride while intoxicated. I pay close attention to the trail, and only talk on my cell phone while at cattle crossings.

It appears horses are ixnay at the car wash. I wonder though if it'd be OK to wash your ass at one?

HA! - That is about what it looked like! - That guy is dressed to go right in the ring when he gets there, still clean and pressed! He knows what he is doing.

at cattle crossings

I'm reminded of a eastern city type who was visiting rural NM. Saw a cattle guard and asked "How does that work?" The local replied "Pretty well."

A:You have to be a drone.
B:You needed to serve the queen during the previous administration.

I wonder if he got the hot wax!

Hot wax at the salon: $30
Hot wax at the carwash: $2

Why not? It's a bargain...

I bet this is due to environmental restrictions on the car wash operator. They have to filter the water before it enters the sanitary sewer. Horsehair might clog things up.

sure am glad we are paying for the storm troppers to drive around with guns to prevent illegal horse washings...I feel safer now.

America is quickly becoming a police state...I went on a 11 mile drive two days ago and passed 9 cops in cruisers patrolling...and I live in a very small town with almost no crime...oh yea, must be national security.

Some of the out-of-town residents here ride their horses to the local bar. They hitch the horses on the big (cement) porch, so nobody bumps them when parking vehicles. I'm sure its a violation of some kind of health law, but nobody around here gives a hoot. Besides, the horses know the way home, so if the riders have a snoot full they still get delivered home. (Is that drunk driving?)

I just tried looking for it on the city's official website, but the muni codes aren't posted and the search engine isn't operating.

Must be all that horse hair clogging the server.

Our local cowboy bar (in the NW San Fernando Valley) has a small corral at one end of the parking lot.
