Horses generally don't mind the car wash but the undercarriage option can be a real...surprise.

(California wine beats French wine in blind taste tests. Boycott French wine.)

As a stall mucker of 30+ years' experience, I can tell you that's not "the right stuff".
THIS is "the right stuff" (or at least a reasonable facsimile thereof):
If you want samples, my mare will be happy to provide them free of charge. Shipping and handling extra. Your mileage may vary.

The funny thing is- from the horses' perspective the car wash is probably the equivalent of a shower massage and they probably really enjoy it. They'll probably spend the rest of their lives wondering why they no longer get the deluxe treatment.

That's probably right:) I recently got this nifty sprayer to attatch to my hose, it has about 5 different settings. I was giving my horse a bath last week and set it on the shower setting. He is a very young horse and kept moving away, to where the water would not reach his butt. So I turned it to jet setting and started spraying him expecting him to really start dancing around, but he actually turned his butt to me and seemed to really enjoy the powerful stream hitting him. He turned this way and that but never away from it:) Horses are funny animals.

Yeah - as if they understand your horse when he orders a grilled chicken sandwich.

I know a girl that got a DUI for riding her horse while intoxicated.

Besides, the horses know the way home, so if the riders have a snoot full they still get delivered home. (Is that drunk driving?)If the horse is in complete control of itself, and is making all of the decisions, you might be able to make an argument that it's not drunk driving, that the rider was actually just a passenger... some enterprising attorney could try to pull this off...

You can drive cattle, but you Ride a horse.

If the horse is in complete control of itself, and is making all of the decisions That has usually been the case the few times I have ridden horses. So much so I got the ride of my life until they stood still long enough for me to get off. lol

"That's not horse $hit. That's cow $hit. How can you comment on things like horses and carwashes when you don't know $hit."LOL. The best laugh all night. I'm going to bed now.
