Sounds like Methodists, the last time I had a conversation with a Methodist preacher he informed me there are no such things as literal angels or demons, that the reference to each in the bible is merely a figgure of speech. What does THIS mean??

Probably that the same one who promised Abraham that he'd be the father of nations, who rescued Israel from Egypt and gave them the Law is the same one who raised Jesus from the dead (Peter: Acts 3, Stephen: Acts 7, and Paul: Romans 4).
