Did I confuse things? Mom's the new Bible Presbyterian. I adhere to an Orthodox Presbyterian venue.

I think Bible Presbyterians encourage adult baptism as opposed to strictly infant baptism with the OPs, eh, Mom?

What, you haven't heard of the Mormons from 100 some years ago when they believed in polygamy?

Although, having my own little harem might be considered a gift from God by me... ;)

Now it has come to the point where religeous instruction must also be taught in the home.

Sunday school started with the purpose of teaching God's Word to orphans. In the OT the Lord speaks to the father as the one who is to teach their children about Him. Something the Lord taught our immediate family was this simple truth and my husband took back from the church (which he had relinquished to the church) his duty to grow our children's knowledge of the Lord.

That is true? But what good is the Confessing Movement if the Bishops refuse to enforce the Church Discipline? You can have as many Renewal Groups as you want, but if UM pastors continue to come out of the closet with no consequences, all you do is Confess to the choir.
