I didn't mention the WND / Roush connection to impune the veracity of any particular 'fact' that we 'know' about the situation, but disinterested 3rd party reporting would be more complete, I think.

Not sure what they can do about the situation, dennis, and have no real evidence that State is 'betraying' them (yet).

If this was a clear and cut case I would love to rub the saudi's nose in a pile of camel dung. Before that, I have to go slow and see what the "rest of the story" is.

JOEL MOWBRAY

Our State Department embassies do many things. One mission is to represent and aid American citizens abroad. State and our US Government obviously are not exerting proper pressure on the Saudis to allow these 3 US citizens to depart from Saudi Arabia. Can you concieve of any other nation pulling this Saudi stunt?

You could have one of those switch days and the State Dept would switch jobs with the UN and I bet you couldn't tell the difference.

But, we do have a President and he should be able to make the State Dept jump. Unless he supports what they are doing.
