The guy is a bonafided banana cream pie (just ask the bear). The whole trouble with lefties is they just don't see the world through the lens of reality. Bears are just big cuddly guys who are mis-understood. Vicious criminals are just poor mis-understood folks who deserve 100 more chances. Terrorists are oppressed, mis-understood people, ad infinitum, ad nauseum.

I think we should encourage lefties to commune with nature in this manner. The gators in Florida ought to be treated to serenading in a high-pitched voices also. I hear they really dig it. So you left-wing Dems and Greenies, hurry on down to the Glades and become gator crap for the cause.
