While perhaps not up to standard in form, placement or timing, an interesting question nonetheless.
While I would like to hear from those with far greater understanding than myself, I assume since God blessed us all with free will, were he to come to us all directly before we have committed to him we would be less likely to exercise that will. Of course Adam and Eve did have direct contact and chose unwisely and that had great implications for all humanity, which may in itself explain the disconnect for nonebelievers.
Those of us who know Him, don't rely on intermediaries although there is value in meeting in His presence with those who are knowledgable of and can teach about His Word.

There was no need for you to FReepmail me with your response.
Did you check out BibChr's post and follow the links? Excellent information.

Rachel,
You probably don't feel very welcome based on the response you have received from us. That is due to two things: (1) the only post you have made is a vanity thread on the day you signed up, and (2) your post was a rather confrontational question that would tend to evoke a strong response.
At this point, you can engage in conversation or you can go away. As you should have seen by now, there were a couple of serious responses to your question from folks willing to engage in discussion with you. If you are interested in discussion, I hope you will engage in a keyboard conversation with them out in the open for all of us to see. If not, then this probably isn't the forum that you are interested in. Either way, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you. I hope you find THE answer to your questions, and I hope you find that answer in Jesus Christ.

Hmmm, could you expound on your question?
Either you are asking a queston looking for a real answer, or you are being "cheeky" and are making a statement provoking an arguement, vindictively accusing one of standing as God judging you.
If it is the later, you are a Troll.
If you are a troll, I stand as a intermediary for the "Mod".
Here is your answer...

If you are not a Christian, you may also want to
Ask The Imam just so you don't come off as a bigot.
Of course you can expect to find a fatwa called so you might want to lie about which country you are from when you submit your question to them.

Please elaborate.
Your question does not have enough information.
Why are you asking about intermediaries?
What is your purpose?
Tell me what you have heard, and we shall try to piece together what your question really is.

Depends on the purpose of the moment. God would not require mediation in all cases. In our case God could be immediate.

God doesn't need intermediaries,` nor does He use them. He came here in person to introduce and teach all about Himself. In 17 days, folks will celebrate His birthday.

1st Timothy 2:5
For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men--the testimony given in its proper time.
Let me explain, Jesus said if you ask anything in my name it will be given to you. When we go to God, we must approach him in Christ Jesus, who was sinless, for God cannot look upon sin, so, we can go boldy to the throne of God if our lives are covered, cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Don't waste your time praying to saints or even to Mary, pray to the One who can help you.
