Paranoia reigns.
In my words, the N.O. is a Desecration, it is wrong, humanistic,Protestant and it an abomination compared with the TRUE Mass of the Forefathers, the Holy Martyrs and saints.
N.O. has crumbled the Faith the virtues, the morals. It has made the fear of God and the love and reverence due to Him and His Mother and the saints and angels in Heaven, all belittled.
It is simply UNCATHOLIC. Vatican ll, the N.O. , turned their backs on the tabernacle.(if you can find one in the N.O. Churches)Literally that used to mean to us old timers an improper and desrespectful thing to do to Jesus who was in the tabernacle! And this is only one point of N.O.but a very strong one.
Second, I completely disagree with you.
Third, I consider this statement: "the N.O. is a Desecration" to be blasphemous.
But at least I know where you're coming from. That's something of a novelty.
You have the timing about the same as I remember it ... 1977 or thereabouts. I really have to do some legitimate research, here, refresh my memory, and try to put this whole mess in historical perspective.
well if you would only see the video it SHOWS what happened.
Third, I consider this statement: "the N.O. is a Desecration" to be blasphemous.
It is unfortunately the other way around."the N.O. is a blasphemous Desecration" and I do not wish to make light of this either. Somuch could be pointed out but as I say I leave to the video to ShOW you ....God Guide you.
1977's about right.
At first it was only a few people, and then the calls started to come from the pulpit to receive in the hand, saying, "we do it this way now," and more and more people started doing it, not really understanding why, and then, finally, the children were taught NOT to received on the tongue.
And so here we are today.
Regards,
We can go 'round and 'round with our accusations of blasphemous desecrations, and desecrated blasphemies, and desolations of abhomination all we like ... but calling the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, even in a form you or I might not particularly care for a "desecration" is objectively, blasphemy. You're calling God, truly present on the Altar, a desecration. If you are comfortable with that, you have problems I can't help you with.
Finally, remarks like " turned their backs on the tabernacle.(if you can find one in the N.O. Churches)" don't help your credibility. I rarely have trouble finding the Tabernacle. It's (almost always) right up front, in the sanctuary, marked by the red candle.
