“Even though the saints are much more alive then any of us it’s better to pray for intercession thru a mere earth-bound person than one in Heaven...right?”

I wonder why this guy is using “40 days”. When I go into the bathroom, I sing to myself, but I never answer myself. But if I did, I’d know it was just me bouncing stuff myself hehehe.

Could this so called “prophecy” being any more vague, meandering, and pointless... like all of the past seven years of those Elijah list “prophets”.

Oh, yeah. I forgot. Every Elijah List “prophet” gives the caveat that their prophecies are “conditional” and may or may not come true within a given time frame and it is probably the reader's fault if said “prophecy” did not come true. ...??????????

After half listening to Pierce and other hysteric-Jezebels ( and I do mean Jezebel as in the Book of Revelation 2:20) like Jill Austen and Cyndy Jacobs and Che Ahn and Bob Jones and Paul Cain — I awoke to the rude hubris of Rick Joyner a year or so ago when I read his astonishing apostasy where he dared to deconstruct the parable of the wheat and the tares — substituting unbelievers and believers (tares and wheat, according at least, to Jesus) for true and false prophets! Joyner's extended essays on this newly revised “parable” where tares were false prophets and the wheat was true prophets — is really meant as a cover up for the failed, false and insane “words” that have come from the Elijah List.

Follow the money. There is no such thing as a paid prophet in the New Testament. There is no such thing as prophets “learning” how to “get it right” in the New Testament. When Paul and Peter laid hands on John the Baptist's disciple, and he was filled with the Holy Spirit, he prophesied immediately. The Elijah List apostates want you to go to their “school of the prophets” — even though this is not spelled out in the NT anywhere.

Someone needs to post about the satanic occurrences and perversion that followed Cyndy Jacobs and Jill Austen's tenure at a Hollywood church a few years ago. After the lawsuits were paid off, there was no attention paid to how these so called “prophets” could have “missed” the open perversion going on at the church they were being paid to prophecy over. That is one of the main functions of prophecy —as Peter saw the sin of Ananias and Sapphira; as Nathan saw King David's sin, etc.

Do me a favor, check Chuck Pierce's “words” for the past ten years, however vague and non specific (though using Biblical language). You will be surprised as to what you find out.

Oh, forgot to mention another pal of Pierce's on the national paid prophet conference circuit — the insane Bill Hamon. Ever read his book on prophecy? It is Mein Kampf for the church. This is the end time Apostasy.

I wish I had time to make more than these somewhat dramatic statements, but I'm working at the moment. I promise to deconstruct this false prophet further for the sake of all the people, myself included, who previously were tolerant and somewhat entertained by these Elijah Listers, but now have seen it as the promised “delusion” God says He will send in the End Times.

And God's Word will not come back void, like Pierce's.

No where in the Word does it say that the dead can intercede for the living.

That is the whole point of the story of the rich man and the poor man Lazarus.

But interesting that you bring this up, because the apostasy of the Elijah List traveling circus prophets will eventually include all false beliefs like this.

I’m thanking Joya also for this posting on the Elijah LIst “profits”.

It makes it easier to discern and be a Berian as Paul commended them for judging Paul’s teachings by the eternal Word.

Paul wrote that of those on the inside, God is the judge. But of those on the inside (in the church) WE are the judges.

Pierce’s vague and non specific ‘prophecies” are laughable apostasy, but I actually understand how he and others morphed into this delusion. Intercessors know the power of prayer. But that does not make them big P Prophets. The gift of prophecy is for EVERY Christian. This is why Paul tells us to “be ambitious to prophecy” for the encouragement of the saints.

But unaccountable big P Prophets like Pierce — why did they condone the “restoration” of the flagrant homosexual Paul Cain? And why did Pierce’s friend Rick Joyner “restore” Bob Jones after he molested those women and was thrown out of the Anaheim Vineyard? (He apparently blamed his perversion on a demon.)

There is a lot to be uncovered about Frangipange, Bill Hamon, Tommy Tenny, Rick Joyner, Cyndy Jacobs, Paul Cain, Bob Jones Chuck Pierce, etc.

They are resurrecting the heretical “Latter Rain” theology of the 40’s to their own destruction.

I think his 40 days started March 4. Also, this seems to be something for him personally and rather vague.

If Pierce’s word wasn’t your cup-o-tea, that’s O.K.

If you find those who **”prophesy”** (verb) to be flaky, fair enough.

If you are outraged by scandals involving some who prophesy, (verb), fair enough. I don’t defend folks who have been in gross sin and then try to continue in the ministry.

I appreciate your fervor to stand against flaky stuff in the Body of Christ.

However, I am uncomfortable with your overgeneralizing. You make broad statements about the Elijah List and a long list of people.

Judging them **all** to be apostates is going too far.

What if some of their material IS from God? Are you going to get in His face and lecture Him?

Of course I agree with you — that if any of the stuff these Elijah Listers have to say if actually from the Lord, I'd better get with it.

However, there hasn't been any thing I've read on the EL that has ever ministered to me... which of the prophetic words for, say, 2005, that Chuck Pierce gave — came true? I remember that year pretty well and fasting at that time on one of his "words". What happened? Nada. The words were vague and religious sounding and nothing happened one way or another.

The problem with the spirit behind the Elijah List is that they belong to some organization of "prophets" (cannot recall the name) and they actually believe this strange “Latter Rain” doctrine of the 1940's regarding a false doctrine of “the five fold ministry.”

What this “doctrine of the five fold ministry” says is that the church has been in some disarray and some error by “repressing the prophetic voice” all these years since Jesus walked the earth.

The Doctrine of the Five Fold ministry says that the normal pastor elder deacon model will be overthrown, in the End Times, by the repressed voices of Apostles and Prophets, who will lead the church into overtaking every nation and that these formerly repressed Prophets will lead the world into a true religion that will usher in the Second Coming of our Lord.

Uh... so guess who thinks they will be these special End Time Prophets?

You got it. Our friends at the Elijah List.

Now there is no where in Scripture that it says that Christians will succeed in getting every nation to convert to Christianity in order that the Lord comes back in the Second Coming.

BUT it is in scripture where is says that the False Prophet and the personage he prophecies for, the Anti Christ, WILL take over every nation in a one world religious government and they will put true Christians to death in the name of the Lord.

So I have a HUGE issue with these false prophecies and false doctrines posted and preached by these paid “Prophets” on the Elijah List. If we Christians tolerate false prophecy NOW, how will we be able to discern the False Prophet of the AntiChrist? Answer: We won't be able to discern.

Put it to you this way, there is a religiousness that the Lord condemns. This is the scripture that says “Lord Lord, we cast demons out in your name, we prophesied in your name! And the Lord will say to them — ‘Get away from me you wicked servant, you sons of lawlessness, I never knew you!”

Who are these religious Christians who know all about spiritual warfare, the casting out of demons, and who know about prophecy — and do it — but the Lord casts them out saying “You were lawless and I never knew you?”

Good question, huh? Lawlessness is a disregard for the basic decencies of God's commandments, basically saying that one can break God's law under some special dispensation. If you are lawless, and you don't, for example, Love the Lord thy God will all thy heart and all thy mind and all thy spirit, you are breaking God's law. If you don't behave as God requires — you don't know Jesus. ‘He who loves me does the will of the Father”.

This crackpot prophesying on the Elijah List is dangerous stuff. It is the End Time apostasy. Even if Chuck Pierce doesn't commit the more serious and seriously damning prophecies of say, Cyndy Jacobs, or Jill Austen or Bob Jones — he “tolerates” these people.

In Rev 2:20 The Lord has this thing against the people at Thyatira; “they TOLERATE that woman Jezebel who calls herself a prophetess and leads people into sexual immorality.” To “tolerate” means to be in passive agreement with something. This is forbidden by the Lord. We cannot co-exist with false doctrines or false prophecies. It is dangerous, dangerous stuff.

God bless you and I wish I could explain it more to you. I used to be into Joyner et all, and need to repent for pushing his Final Quest on some women in my bible study some years ago. I only awoke to this Elijah List scam last year and I am horrified at the wounding it has done to God's saints.

I don’t have a problem with critical thinking concerning prophecy / prophesying (noun/verb).

I do, however, caution you again, that trashing something that is from Holy Spirit is a BAD idea.

You might want to pray about your attitude, Irene.

I have been praying. Trashing the Word (and the Word is something the Holy Spirit can never contradict) is what is happening with the “Prophets” on the Elijah List.

My attitude has nothing to do with the fact of the matter. They are not speaking from the Lord; otherwise their prophecies would come true and their prophecies would line up with the Word.

1 John 4 (New Living Translation)Discerning False Prophets

1 Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.

2 This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet[a] acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God.

3 But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here.

Guess who does not believe Jesus Christ came in bodily form? Right. Rick Joyner and Bob Jones. I wonder if someone could track down whether Cindy Jacobs and Chuck Pierce have ever been recorded saying as much.

By the way, I just saw a video from last year that would freak out Christian Freepers... Cindy Jacobs is FOR the NAFTA road through the US! She is putting some weird Christianese sounding spin on it. She is actually FOR destroying the sovereignty of the United States and helping usher in a one world religious government we know will come with the AntiChrist!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NA0iGQCd4TM

It will definitely shake your world, this video. Jacobs, another Elijah Lister false prophet, is certifiable and probably demonized.

You know, Joya, I don't know how to deal with this apostasy. If that is an attitude problem, then I suppose Jesus had an attitude problem when He condemned the false prophets and legalists of His dispensation on earth.

It is sin to falsely prophesy, right? To tell someone something in the name of our Lord Jesus, and it is a patent lie? This Elijah List stuff is Mein Kampf for the End Times, I am telling you, it is a perfect blueprint for Christian mind control.

Hey, just reread your soi disant post on this thread. (Exactly. Soi disant!) The Elijah List stuff is freaky. Bob Jones, Paul Cain, Rick Joyner, C Peter Wagner, Cindy Jacobs, Jill Austin Che Ahn. They all should be held accountable for every single "prophecy" they have made. We would all be astounded to find out just how few of their words actually came true or actually line up with the Bible..

What is weird is what happened at a local church disaster here in LA.

A newly installed pastor who hired one of these false prophetesses to be his “in house Prophet” fell into such sin under her, he was abusing boys with demonic stigmata flowing. The churches that had started this new church did such a CYA — and coverup, that it is astounding. Lawsuits also flowed.

The funniest thing is that two of these Elijah List prophetesses had prophesied over this perverted pastor ONE WEEK before he was yanked from the pulpit and failed to see the overt sin in his life. They just kept on saying how great his ministry was going to be, bla bla bla.

Of course, no accountability. These celebrity prophets are sick. They believe in the Office of the Prophet as from the Old Testament times. They fail to see that the Office of the Holy Spirit, ala, what all believers have in the New Covenant, makes mincemeat out of any Old Testament gifting. Every Christian is encouraged to prophesy by Paul in the New Testament. (But Rick Joyner especially has problems with Paul. Always has a Satanic need to denigrate him.)

This Elijah List “prophetess” certainly fulfilled what the book of Revelation says about the end time Jezebel — that she will teach sexual immorality along with the “so called deep things of Satan”.

When Christ talks about the Jezebel, "who calls herself a prophetess," He is talking to us in the church, that we are not to "tolerate" or have passive agreement with this stuff, even though it sounds very biblical.

These Elijah Listers are just priming the pump for the Anti Christ and the False Prophet.
