I'm confused. Are you pro-Romney?

I said his religion is not a factor because he tripped on his tongue at the starting gate.

Statements of Christian Denominations on Mormonism:

Christian churches teach belief in God as an eternal, self-existent, immortal being, unfettered by corporeal limitations and unchanging in both character and nature. In recent years, several Christian denominations have made studies of Mormon teaching and come to the conclusion that there are irreconcilable differences between LDS doctrine and Christian beliefs based on the Bible.

I have been posting those same links (or the previous links since they keep moving)here for probably 4 years.

I could have written my post better, I meant that it gives the impression that Christianity is not in agreement on Mormonism, which it is of course, Pope John II himself made the statement on baptism being required for Mormon converts.

For years I have seen the media leave out the Catholics on the Mormon issue, it completely changes the effect and makes it seem like something that only the “religious right” thinks.

The Greek Orthodox belong on that list as well.

The only thing keeping Eastern Orthodox (or any other Christian assembly) off my list is the lack of a link.

Google it, they are clear on Mormonism, and even use the word cult.

No, he is NOT in. He is an abortion supporter, a global warmist nut, and a RINO. If he makes it to the GOP candidacy, I will not vote for him. I'll leave it blank before I let this happen again!

Go look on the Religion forum and you'll see where Colofornian stands on Mormonism. He and his little cadre of Mormon haters regularly post reams and reams of screed against the religion [he'll badmouth me now because I made the mistake of calling it a religion].

That said, I don't care if Romney is a Mormon; I'm against him because he's a RINO who convinced Massachusetts to vote for him and implement government healthcare, he's an abortion supporter, and he is a global warming nut.

There is one here, plus you can check the others to see if you can use any of them, you have good formatting on your list and I hope that you post it a lot, many Christians do not realize their church’s position, and some posters also try to conceal it as they push Romney.

Here is one for your broken Lutheran links.

People flippantly saying the OP and others like him are mormon haters are wrong and hypocritical.

For the millionth time, there is nothing hateful about pointing out the spiritual errors in mormonISM. The OP hasn't blasted or been disrespectful to individual mormons, so your accusation is blatantly false.

The essential idea on the list is a statement to the effect that the Mormon baptism is not acceptable (therefore stating conclusively that Mormonism is not Christianity).

I have spent a lot of time and effort trying to find a link to such a statement from Eastern Orthodox (and other Christian assemblies).

I am not saying that Eastern Orthodox accepts the Mormon baptism, I'm sure they do not, just that I haven't found a link to such a statement.

I just linked to that for you in post 52, click on the Orthodox link at post 44, in that thread and it will take you to their statement.

Yes, and I read though the article in that post:

I also did word searches for "baptism" and "Mormon". I just did not find a statement to the effect that Mormon baptism is not accepted.

One final thing. If you think I’m wrong then hit the Abuse button and have them ban me. I’m tired of arguing with you fools outside of the Religious Forum.
