you make a great point. The Church has been commissioned by Jesus to make disciples of all nations by teaching and baptizing. This it has done for 2,000 years. The Bible teaches that although the gates of hell won’t prevail against the Church, there will be a great falling away right before the end of the world, to such an extent that Jesus wondered whether He would find faith on the earth when He returned! Jesus bound Satan at the cross, to allow the Church ( led by the Holy Spirit ) to plunder Satan’s kingdom, namely the world. We are also told that Satan will be loosed for a short time, again right before the end of the world. It is my personal belief that Satan was loosed sometime in the 1960’s, which coincided with Vatican II and the general apostosy we are seeing in the Church since then. The apostosy led to empty seminaries and ungodly bishops to begin accepting pervets and homosexuals to the priesthood, hoping they wouldn’t act on their sexual orientation. We can all see the disaster this has become! The devil loves to attack the Church and a great weapon has been the spread of homosexual, deviant priests which has caused such scandal that the witness of the Church has effectively been silenced. The two witnesses John speaks of in Revelation are indeed dead and the world rejoices. There are still some of us who hold to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Faith that the Church has proclaimed for 2,000 but we are not a great number. More of a remnant i’d say. It all leads me to keep looking up, Jesus will be returning on the clouds very shortly!!

If a queer priest obeys his vow of chastity, I have no problem with him.

It is true, I saw enough myself by their interactions at a restaraunt they frequented...and yes I just posted another e-mail to a woman who can get me the name and if or not he is still there. Either way I will get you the name....though I’m not sure if she can get the other mans name...but it went on so long I suspect someone in the community knows.

“If a queer priest obeys his vow of chastity, I have no problem with him.”

I question whether the priest is queer in that case.

Suppose you have a hetero priest who stays celibate the whole length of his priesthood. He is not therefore an adulterer or a fornicator, just because he did not act on any desire to have sex with a woman.

So if you have a homo priest who stays celibate the whole length of is priesthood, I am not sure I’d call him queer at that point. He is not indulging himself in any sinful sexual behavior; any more than any other celibate priest.

i have no knowledge either way, so i take you at your word.

i do find it amusing that some people think it is strange that a man may decide to live the celibate life in order to serve God without the distraction of raising a family. i can think of two men who made this decision that hopefully we all are glad they did, Jesus and St Paul.

In gratitude to Cronos for his tireless exposure of apostasy and sin in the PCUSA and other liberal protestant denominations, doubtless motivated only by Christian love, I humbly return the favor with a shocking expose of pervert priests in the Pope's back yard. Love ya, Bro! (in the Christian brotherly sort of way, not the "Vatican Priest" sort of way!)

What is wrong and sinful, is wrong and sinful. I do not discourage the posting of this kind of thread; this is obviously sensationalized but there is a truth to this that needs exposing. Thank you for posting this.

The normalization of homosexuality is the leftist’s dream come true, giving them the biggest hammer yet in their effort to destroy Christianity. Of course, the rampant homosexuality in liberal-loving public education is never subjected to this kind of scrutiny while the press lauds public educators for advancing homosexuality.

i am not personally aware of any practicing homosexual priest and i doubt you are either. if i am wrong, please provide me the name and location of the priest and your proof he is a practicing homosexual and i will personally forward it on to his bishop and to Rome. i look forward to hearing from you.

Shouldn't be to hard to find 'em. For pete's sake; they have their own website!:

You could go undercover and smoke 'em out, Dateline style!

we all condemn the sin of homosexuality and we should, it is an abomination in the sight of God. But, are we just as quick to condemn the lust in our own hearts when we see an attractive woman or watch images of woman we shouldn’t? Jesus said it’s the same as committing adultrey with that woman. So let’s all take the beam out of our own eye......

in addition, there are many sins that have nothing to do with sex, do we commit these...lying, cursing, cheating, greed, drunkedness, etc. etc.?

“forgive up our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us....”

But the church is not moving to rid the church of these perverts to the pace of those coming in who are sodomites. And why are they being allowed to practice this behavior in full view of the audiance without being taken out of the ministry then and there?...

Actually, the reports I've seen indicate that they are effectively being reduced. Time will tell, though.

It's beyond understanding how the leadership is dragging it's feet on getting this infestation out of the church, when they have the power to do just that!!!

How effective has the SBC been in ridding itself of entities like Westboro Baptist?

No way would I have a kid even attend a Catholic function now...the risk is just to great.

I am a religious education teacher. Our group is as squeaky clean (background checks every year) as is can be, and exactly none of our kids has even hinted about anything. Let's put it this way: I've got five at home now and I would know if anything was going on anywhere.

Westboro Baptist is an independent church, not afiliated with the SBC or any other denominational authority.

The article speaks of young men; the indications that I have seen are that the priests are 60's and 70's era free love hippy types. The young priests in North America are much more orthodox, conservative and straight in orientation then the previous generation of priests. While there may be cause for the article, I think that this was much more applicable 30 years ago than now.

I don’t think that this is correct. Even though they are desperately seeking new priests, our diocese just released a seminarian for such behavior. Of the estimated 400,000 priests in the world, this behavior is impossible to prevent 100% of the time. If you gathered a cross section of other people that large, what percentage do you think would be homosexual? This is just an all our war against Christianity, whatever the denomination, and since the Roman Catholic Church is the largest church, they are always the prime target.
