I checked on line...This is the church. I remember it well as a woman painted many murals inside and was related to family members I knew there. Actually she was quite the artist. There are numerous stautes in the garden and throughout the property as well and an attraction for the community.

On the other hand the Priest they list there now is NOT the Priest I’m referencing , and so good I contacted my friend to get the name which I will e-mail you with when I receive it.

Meanwhile am off to work and will hopefully have his name before I leave or tonight when I get home

When will there be an outting of the MSM’s gay editors and network anchors?

Don’t ask don’t tell is only opposed in the US military. The rest of the lavender mafia prefers to remain closeted.

How effective has the SBC been in ridding itself of entities like Westboro Baptist?

Westboro Baptist is an independent church, not afiliated with the SBC or any other denominational authority.

That is correct. Now, who was I thinking of - I remember a list of rather distasteful Baptist churches that were SBC and were unable to be kicked out. I'm going to have to do some digging. My apologies (but not for the lunatics at Westboro).

Catholicism will eventually embrace its sexual deviants, drop its opposition to abortion and join the New World Order.

Whoever posted this is obviously in the employ of the left. If anybody reads the whole article (which I doubt most people did), it ends up with a declaration that gays should be priests and that Rome is being insanely hostile and old-fashioned by not permitting this.

No sin ever going to be stopped all the way. The Devil goes about like a roaring lion, and sin enters anywhere it can. During the 1960s and 70s, the authority structure of the Church broke down, and a lot of these people got into the priesthood at that time and then rose through the ranks and, like all gays, promoted the brotherhood.

This is a bad thing and the Church knows it and has been trying to stop it for years. JPII was a lousy administrator, although even he managed to get some procedures in place for reviewing seminaries and religious orders. However, BXVI has done a lot, and he’s the one that Newsweek is trying to stop.

I believe you, caww. I am in the Scranton Diocese, and our churches are full of gay priests.

Before you condemn that “organization,” consider its size, its endurance, and the fact that is it the largest giver of charity, by far, in the world. A wayward seminary here or there does not invalidate the integrity of so many others, such as the huge bastions of dedicated postulants I have seen for myaelf in Catholic Poland. The Church is a very large house.

well, if it ever did, this would be the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place and we would know Jesus’s second coming would be imminent.

What this is about: the Catholic Church continues to hold that homosexual acts are inherently “disordered” and “unnatural.” It bases its teachings on Natural Law and Scripture. Its teachings lead it to oppose both homosexual” “marriage” and homosexual adoption.
The “most priests are gay” canard is intended to discredit the Church's opposition to the homosexual agenda by casting it as “hypocritical.” In truth, the ratio of homosexual priests is no greater than that of this affliction in the general population. More likely the ratio is smaller. But that will not deter Newsweek or other MSM carriers of the homosexual agenda.

True. However, I think that any incidents are too many, and that this is useful to remind Catholics that they need to watch the clergy a tad closer than they have in the past.

The Lavender Mafia did great harm.

I know, but this article ultimately fails to do that. All that's going to happen is that the people will get more riled up and be much more likely to turn in priests for bad behaviour. I encourage it. The Orthodox do not have the problem to the extent that the Latins developed in the 60s and 70s precisely because they beat their clergy in the streets with sticks when they depart from Orthodox Christianity. We need to raise our behaviour to their level.

Thank you. Does Father Mammarillo sound familiar to you? He’d be grey haired I’d imagine by now. I’m trying to shake my brain but I think that was his name. Still no response from my friend who went there at the time..but she will.

I use to go to Wilksbarre and Scranton...one in the same really! Hazelton too. A regional sales rep...and also one time Agent at the Wilksbarre airport where I was trained. Short lived but interesting job.

There’s actually web sites for “Gay Friendly” churches...and they list many. Golly what a horrible mess the church is all around....this gay agenda is on a roll and the enemy of mens souls is pushing it hard.

Going to work now...Later.

BTW I was introduced to that Priest after I was aware of the crap he was doing to the kid, a teenager at the time. I refused to acknowlege him as Father, or Rev. or any title . I called him Mr. and could have easily spit in his face.

The organization that did that would cease to be the Catholic Church at that point, and would be just an impostor organization. The real Catholic church would be with the faithful remnant who would immediately leave the apostate organization claiming to be the Catholic Church.

i assume you and i are both reasonable people. let’s assume we are on a jury and the priest in question is charged with being a homosexual. the proof should be such that you and i, as reasonable people, will look at it and both agree it proves the priest is a homosexual.
examples of what is not proof would include hearsay statements from someone you know or pictures of the priest having a meal with another man. think about how you would feel if you were accused of being a homosexual based on hearsay or a picture of you having dinner with a same sex friend of yours!

“If a queer priest obeys his vow of chastity, I have no problem with him.”

So you’ll trust him around your your teenaged sons, hoping he doesn’t slip up? And what kind of a role model does he provide for impressionable teens? This was classifed in the DSM as a mental disorder not too long ago, and it appears to have been reclassifed for political reasons.

As recent events have clearly demonstrated, it’s not wise to put people with this type of compulsion in charge of others’ spiritual welfare.

Homosexuality is an abomination to God. The Churches have been infiltrated. There are many false converts and many who embrace false doctrine. Apostasy is through out. The Bible prophesied this.

Christians need to get right with God on an individual basis and come out from the wicked organizations. God will execute His judgement against these wicked, phony Christians, laymen, priest, or whatever.

It’s time to get right with God people. Do it now. Time is short.
