New Film Puts Christ Back into Christmas the Week Before Thanksgiving.

Whatever. Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

I think this is an extraordinary and marvelous endeavor by Rick Santorum and I hope it moves spirits and uplifts souls in its wake.
I am Jewish, but faith is the tie that binds us all and I wish more people felt that way. The miracles in our everyday, seemingly mundane lives often go without notice because of the heartaches and troubles we experience along the way.
My fervent prayer is that we realize and understand that we are never alone, even in our darkest hours, and that we rise and give thanks to the Lord for every breath we take, every child who lives to see a new sunrise, and for the great love that has been offered to us if only we choose to accept it.
Congratulations to Rick and I hope this Christmas card he sent us is seen by as many people as possible. We so desperately need G-d in our lives again. Maybe this will help some to realize it.
I watched the trailer, but the scenes went by too fast to really get any serious understanding of the movie...and that is probably my only complaint. G-dspeed, Rick.

Can we put Christ in the already forming “Black Friday” sales lines?
Seems no one gets it anymore....

Looks delightful, but there is not a single MD theater carrying. The closest theater for me is about 90 miles away, but I am not venturing into Philthadelphia.

I saw Santorum on Colbert yesterday. Part of the plot is that every 25 years, an angel comes to Earth to award one family in a particular town a miracle if they recite a certain prayer. That’s all I needed to hear. Sheesh! talk about making God a servant to man. ugh

Nice cast with talented British character actors/actresses. I noticed some names from previous Period Pieces I watched. Although the one problem is this movies seems something more fitting for Lifetime or Hallmark channel than a movie theater. Ms. Marks look rather fetching in Edwardian clothes.:)

I take it then that you never pray the Lord’s Prayer.

John 13:1-17 (New International Version)

Jesus Washes His Disciples’ Feet

13 It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

2 The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. 3 Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; 4 so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. 5 After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.
