Didn't Cardinal Burke just get demoted?

Not good enough. Excommunicate them. Every single pro choice politician should be kicked out of the Catholic Church.

The scriptures speak of a reprobate mind.Pelosi sure fits the description. She’s toast for sure if she doesn’t change.

Burke is my favorite Cardinal and I am trying to figure out why he lost his job with the Congregation for Bishops. If I find out that he was canned for actually standing up for Catholic principles and Pope Francis was behind it I am through supporting Francis. I know he’s the Pope, but down through the history of the Church there have been good popes and bad popes. Maybe Burke wanted out. I will find out one way or the other. In addition to Burke being removed there were two other conservative Cardinals replaced. Burke was replaced by Cardinal Donald Weurl, who’s as liberal as they come.

From Pope Francis: No more business as usual

By Daniel Burke, CNN Belief Blog Co-editor
November 26th, 2013

...But the bulk of Francis' statement addresses the church, which, he said, should not be afraid to "get its shoes soiled by the mud of the street."

The Pope also hinted that he wants to see an end to the so-called "wafer wars," in which Catholic politicians who support abortion rights are denied Holy Communion. His comments could also be taken as another sign that he plans to reform church rules that prevent divorced Catholics from receiving the Eucharist.

"Everyone can share in some way in the life of the Church; everyone can be part of the community, nor should the doors of the sacraments be closed for simply any reason," Francis said.

"The Eucharist, although it is the fullness of sacramental life, is not a prize for the perfect but a powerful medicine and nourishment for the weak."...

They're afraid that if they deny her Communion, she'll throw a screaming fit right at Mass that will escalate to the point that every Catholic church, school, and hospital in the United States is targeted for destruction by the Obama government.

“The Pope also hinted that he wants to see an end to the so-called “wafer wars,” in which Catholic politicians who support abortion rights are denied Holy Communion”

I looked into that statement with liberal CNN made it. These are not Francis’ words. The writer made up the entire sentence.

“The Eucharist, although it is the fullness of sacramental life, is not a prize for the perfect but a powerful medicine and nourishment for the weak.”...

Once again, liberals wanting to believe he meant giving pro-abortion people Holy Communion. No where does he say that’s what he meant. You have to be in full communion with the Church and you have to be in a state of grace to receive Holy Communion. Pro-aborts are spitting in the face of the church.

“Powerful medicine and nourishment for the weak” simply means what it says. Pro-abortion politicians are certainly not weak and they know exactly what they are doing. Other Catholics, as poor as Job’s turkey, that are living their life according to the teachings of the Church, are weak in material possessions, but they are in a state of grace. That’s all I read into the statement.

*8Cardinal Raymond Burke, the former archbishop of St. Louis and now the chief justice at the Vatican’s highest court saying prohibiting Pelosi and Kerry from receiving Communion ”makes perfect sense,” according to a new interview Burke gave to EWTN. **

But it’s up to their individual Bishops to act on this.

Why is he you favorite Cardinal? answer that and you'll know why he was canned. BTW he's my favorite too. I think we conservative Catholics are in for some dark days. But don't be afraid...we know who wins in the end.

You're right. The Church survived Alexander VI and the rest of the Renaissance Popes...it will survive this one too.
