Third paragraph down. Wikipedia. Thanks for the reminder.
From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised.
Every day Orthodox Jews have three prayer services, morning, afternoon, and evening; as well as individual prayers from when they wake and when they go to sleep. In the morning,
and at night
Jesus told the Apostles it was allowed in the Old Testament because God knew their hearts were hard, and that was no longer the case.
He also chastised the Samaritan woman at the well.
I won’t get into it if you are just seeking to justify sin; I don’t recall Jesus outlawing abortion.

So you couldn't pull it off eh??? Guess that's because you know your religion is lying about what the bible says about marriage and divorce...
But that's great...That encourages divorced people to seek out what God really says in the scriptures about it...
Don’t worry; I’m sure you’re saved anyway. I envy Protestants their smug peace of mind.
May seem smug to you but I don't see it that way...
I have a hard time figuring out how you guys can believe a doctrine or dogma of your religion when God in the scriptures says just the opposite and still claim yours is the church of Jesus...
I meant Christian. Don’t need to know about Jews and Muslims.
Try again.
“Like so many of you, he doesn’t believe the bible”
In the eyes of the vast majority of FR protestants any former protestant that converts to Catholicism of course doesn’t know the Bible. They are all ignorant, to be chastised and made fun of for the rest of their lives. It’s kind of funny.
Different day, same story on FR. Damn the Catholic converts, they’re all idiots!
In the eyes of the vast majority of FR protestants any former protestant that converts to Catholicism of course doesnt know the Bible.
Do you see anything remotely similar in those statements???
Trust me, it would be much easier to do what I please and believe I’m saved because Jesus died on the cross; that is what most Protestant churches are reduced to. I don’t understand how they rationalize female clergy, divorce/remarriage, acceptance of homosexual acts/”relationships”, etc.; nothing Biblical about them.
Still can't find any scripture on divorce and remarriage eh??? It's in there...
The pentecostal movement emphasizes a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, but also a horizontal relationship of mutual accountability and fellowship. They uniformly state that they did not have this benefit in the Catholic church. You can say that these millions were wrong, but that’s what they affirm.
Not all of them :)
Right now I hve to believe you wouldn’t really consider what I say in reply, so at least for now, I’m just going to reply on your first claim:
“So how many evangelicals attend daily services? Name me another faith other than Catholicism where services are held every day of the week.”
First, you didn’t address the point, which was that Catholics say they get the Bible through mass even if they don’t read it. And second, what does having or not having a daily mass prove? Jesus and His apostles wrote of things of real importance, and if it were God’s plan (that is, necessary), they would have revealed that.
Amen! I know from being raised in a Pentecostal Assemblies of God family and church, that the deeper one studies the Word and the closer one gets in their walk with Jesus, there comes a longing to experience a true infilling of the Holy Ghost and the fruit and gifts of the Spirit that go along with that. After all isn’t that what Jesus Christ commanded us to do, Matthew 28:19-20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 2
2 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.
1 Corinthians 12
12 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. 2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 to another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 but all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
