The thinking of some is the Mahdi Islamic Messiah is the antichrist. The ac negotiates the peace treaty 3 1/2 yrs in after the Islamic state (and other nations) come against Israel. Then the ac demands to be worshiped in the rebuilt temple.
We know Israel doesn’t lose to forces against her but still they sign this peace treaty, then the great tribulation and the return of Jesus and the destruction of these armies who have come against Israel.
I was reading not to long ago IS ... ISIS believe they will be wiped out almost completely by the forces against them and this will then cause the Islamic Messiah to come and conquer the world with Jesus with some great spear that he will kill the Jews with.
Muslims are not just a little deceived, they are greatly deceived and most willing to die for the Islamic rule of the whole world which they believe they are destined for.
Yes and we know the antichrist comes before Jesus return, and he (antichrist) demands to be worshiped or be killed if they will not bow to ac, and Muslims believe all will worship their messiah or be killed. Both also center on Jerusalem. Lots of parallels.

First and foremost the belief in a Mahdi. This is an Islamic "prophesy" not a Biblical prophesy. Never give non Biblical prophesies the same credence as Biblical, no matter how good or similar they may sound.

Next, Ezekiel 38 mentions all the areas that will attack Israel (Turkey is one of those areas).
It mentions they will be at peace, before they are attacked. My thought is a the 7 year peace treaty is signed and confirmed by AC, THEN Turkey and some of the surrounding nations, primarily muslim nations attack Israel.
Turkey being one of the key nations in this attack, I doubt the "Mahdi" will be the AC, if there is a "Mahdi" I believe he will be Gog, the man of war trying to destroy Israel, leading the muslims to their annihilation, thus allowing AC, 3-1/2 years later, to claim himself god, without a backlash from muslims.

Shoebat’s articles have proven often outside Biblical Prophecy....I think sometmes he has difficulty because He’s had years of indoctrination in Islam...it is not uncommon these overlap in Muslims who become Christians...and then find their way into articles they write.
We are taught as Christians to look for the coming of Jesus Christ....not the anti-Christ....but whatever comes from Islam isn’t going to be good.
Irans’ last leader made the same claims....so they have no clue who , when, or where...
All this really shows is they are ready to be deceived....and the Muslim leaders currently will push for whatever it takes now to “assign” a man of the hour to keep ‘their people’ in check and engaged in the world events happening around them...

On a related note, our entire Middle East branch of the State Deprtment and anyone O-1 and up and E-4 and up should have had Churchill’s books on dealing with Islamics as required reading post-9/11. I read the Story of the Malakand Field Force and The River War in the last few years. In the latter the Brits dealt with the Mahdi in Khartoum.
The answer is No.
Amen! Nowhere in the Bible does it say that the Antichrist will appear in AD 2015.
