Here’s my take on it. Trump goes to church about as often as the average American. He’s Presbyterian, grew up in the church and professes a belief. Its not more or less than most of our Presidents and way more than the Muslim who occupies the Whitehouse now. So color me happy with Trump. At least he is not ashamed to carry his bible around with him.
I agree. If the Pope had said that it would be heard loud and wide.

The correct answer for Trump should have been that it does not matter who God is to me. In the US we treat everybody equally regardless who is your God or if you even have a God.
His sister Mary Ann was appointed to the federal bench by Reagan. Raised to Appellate Court by Clinton. She wee a colleague of Sam Alito and as such she spoke on his behalf at his appointment hearing in front of congress. She is now retired
I do not like what Trump[ used to say, but he was asked in a interview that I saw about judges, he said already that he would appoint conservatives only. He was asked about John Roberts and said that he would not have had the wool pulled over his eyes and would not have appointed Roberts
I paraphrase to a degree but he said that.
I would personally like to have him asked that more because it is really the only issue that matters, I would like that asked multiple times and even a pledge that all sign.
I don’t care who or what he worships- PUT AMERICA FIRST.
Do what needs to be done about immigration and the Chinese and we Americans can take care of the rest.
I personally suspect that he thinks he’s seen God every time he looks in a mirror, but just get the economy back on track and don’t be TOO much of a jerk and we can take it from there.
Not meaning to trivialize any other issues, but he’s pretty much the only one with a significant clue on the economy, and in a crummy economy all other issues of importance to conservatives are pushed to the rear.
