Actually at one time, the left and the right both saw HH as a bad influence on society.
Some “elites”, the “academics” on both sides, I guess, thought he was sophisticated and found intellectual arguments to justify his “philosophy” and “business” acumen.
But FOLKS who had their wits about them saw through the charade.
I will create a thread for discussion regarding a televised interview with HH. William Buckley, the conservative giant, took him and his world view on with some success, I think.
Worth watching.
Yes, when those words finally sunk in through my dense brain, I was flabbergasted. It went against my initial, non-Biblical, pop-culture-infused interpretation of sin.
Whenever someone makes the same mistake in small groups at church, I take a deep breath, and then ask them to read Jesus’s own words in The Gospels.
It always stuns them.
But it also serves as the opening to say that we’re screwed because of our thoughts, which means more than ever, we need Jesus as our Savior.
Exactly. St. Paul wrote of "taking every thought captive to Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5) which is the same as "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my Rock and Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14)" Not any easy thing to do, but essential.
Perhaps you should encourage your daughter or granddaughter to whore herself out since you see it as such a wonderful thing.

True. So let us pay our respects:
He’s dead and has been judged by He Who Matters - let him fade to personal ignominy instead of keeping him in folks’ minds.
I hate pornography. G-d will punish those who cause others to sin.
When you come to that realization you see just how impossible it is to "be good enough" to get into Heaven.
One thought is enough to keep you from Heaven apart from Christ.
Worshiping a man of flesh and blood is not a ticket to Heaven.
You do not even know who I am talking about,I mentioned no name and claim not to be anyone’s judge...let’s just say this is a meditative poem. Warning of the evils of pornography, and the judgment to follow
There are tapes of Hefner debating feminists and he on Dick Cavett show with them
It’s interesting actually as snapshot into that era
God Bless
A terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the true holy God.
Indeed. An immodest woman commits millions of sins throughout her life.
