I’m glad Trump backs them. I’m glad last year and maybe this year Pence talked there. Pro life activists have been going to the mall long before Trump and unfortunately may need to go long after him.

I totally agree with you. A lot of the opposition to abortion is that people don't like to be told what to do by a church. I advocate using a DNA test to prove that a mother and her fetus are separate human beings.

Well, you could and you can, but "fetus" means that he/she is still in the womb.

Note that we have many terms for people in various stages of their lives: fetus, preborn, baby, infant, terrible-twos, toddler, youngster, child, preteen, teenager, twenty-something; middle aged, old, elderly, and probably a few that I've left off the list.

However the basic idea that the intentional killing of an innocent human is wrong is certainly based on religion.

The idea that we should do all we can to protect innocent human life is not only a religious concept but one that is based on Judeo Christian values and religious ethics.

So while you can show with science that the child is a living human individual you still have to go to religion to show why killing an innocent living human individual is wrong.

With my fellow Knights of Columbus we’ll be at the NW Walk for Life in Spokane this coming Saturday. I think overturning Roe v Wade, and sending abortion right back to the states where it belongs, is a very real possibility in the next few years if Trump can get another justice confirmed to the Supreme Court.

Even dogs, cats and rats can produce “fetuses”.
