“The enemy can certainly fake miracles and if it’s in his best interest to make someone think they’ve been healed so that it ends up leading them into more false teaching, then it happens.”

Yes.

But I don’t think any miraculous healing is happening at Hinn meetings.

It’s fake.

This reminds me of the time I said that I didn’t think Elevation Church, which is Southern Baptist, is a cult. A poster accused me of being a cultist.

I think Steven Furtick is a jerk, but Elevation is Southern Baptist, just like the nice 3-piece-suit and covered-dish-dinner folks across the street at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail.

Isn’t it actually poplin?

Seersucker is more Dick van Dyke in Mary Poppins or Andy Griffin as Matlock

Risky in a G4

If you can afford one have two pilots onboard especially if you’re such a charlatan with Gods word

That kind of thinking quickly leads to the Gnostic Heresy that says you can do anything because it is just your body doing the abominable things, while your Mind is pure.

Maybe.

Maybe not.

But demanding works is guaranteed to lead to legalistic religiousity which does no one any good and does not impress God.

I think it’s fake at almost any *faith healing* meeting.

Very little verifiable healings occur.

So you are saying the James, Jesus’ half brother, was wrong when he said Faith without Works is worthless? You think that when God told Abraham to sacrifice Issac, Abraham should have said “No, God, I have faith. I don’t have to do anything”?

Saving faith produces works.

Any faith that does not produce works is useless.

But adding works to intellectual assent does not make it saving faith.

If saving faith always produces works, why would James bother to write about it?

To let people know that faith that doesn't produce works is useless. It's mere intellectual assent.

Salvation is by grace through faith NOT of works. Paul states that clearly in Ephesians and elsewhere.

This link will take you to the Scripture that demonstrates that.
