This is why there are different denominations. We just disagree about Biblical interpretation.

Christians must live a life that demonstrates that Christ is their Lord and Savior. Christ commanded us to certain behaviors, so if we accept him as Lord, we are obligated to follow His command. An exemplary life is more more apt to draw others to Christ and to demonstrate that we have committed to Christ and His teachings. If we cannot follow His commands, then we really haven't accepted Christ. That means we obviously aren't receiving Salvation. Witnessing for Christ is a mission we have all been drafted to serve. In order to preach Love, one must practice it. Anything we do to cause others to sin is not acceptable and certainly is no act of Love.

I'm still learning and reading so I'm still a "work in progress"

Even those of us who believe we are saved are works in progress. Our goal is to become like Christ, and to kow our Father as well as we can. Since that is nigh on impossible to accomplish fully in this lifetime, we will all continue to be works in progress.

What truly matters is not necessarily where you are on the road, but in which direction you are walking.

I see that religion has done a lot of damage to God’s name and that many people who have been burned by religion while rightly rejecting the bad religious experience, also end up rejecting God, who had nothing to do with it.

They end up throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

God WILL honor the the heart that is seeking after Him and those who seek Him will find Him.

From my perspective, I find that you do not understand Scripture. Fortunately for you, only your Faith saves you.

Salvation is easy, fortunately for you too “brother”.

A shame you don’t care to comprehend nor study Eschatology. You’d be better informed about these times we live in and there’s much more to the word than Salvation.
