Wuerl is calling for a "season of healing" to address the sex abuse crisis. How about a season of exposing crimes and noncriminal misconduct, followed by a season of laicization, followed by a season of referral for prosecution?

Nope, they will “make nice” and assure the faithful that “father knows best” and that “these things are being addressed by higher authorities” all the while laughing up their sleeves.Why would a millennium + old practice stop now?
