That is no prophecy. A snake appears, and a verse written thousands of years ago is declared to be a prediction?

They would have gotten more mileage off the article if they’d entitled it as, “Global warming is turning rocks into snakes! PROOF!”

It isn’t in the Bible, it is “The Zohar (the basis of Jewish mysticism)”.
This is like folklore in Israel I believe.
Sometimes the comments on Freerepublic sound close to being anti Semitic...I truly hope and pray this isn’t the case.
The Jewish people have their own Bible, being mostly our Old Testament,
and none of the New Testament.
One of my favorite books is James Kugel's "The Bible As It Was." There is so much really exciting stuff to learn that it is impossible to even scratch the surface in one lifetime.

In our other discussion there was no Judaism outside of the one that you practice. Now we have Kabbalah introduced to the conversation.

The mass migrations to Europe and to the US are more ominous signs of the approaching end times which are accompanied by social breakdown.
I guarantee you that is not the first or only snake that lives in that unmortared stone wall in the desert. That place has got to be snake heaven.

Plus, the cashless society is on its way. Might not be tomorrow but one can see cash will eventually become “old-fashioned”. You know, like the Bible ‘n’ stuff. Like Nations. We’ll have our happy New World Order without borders. Yay us! We have a whole generation smarter than the Bible.
