As Western Civilization sinks deeper and deeper into the hellhole of decadence, it becomes more and more absurd.

Future generations-and honest people in the present generation--will view the 21st century Western nations as as depraved and ridiculous as we have always viewed the Romans of the decadent period, with their slavery, their torture for public entertainment, their granting of citizenship to whole tribes of barbarians, their totalitarian government controlled by the likes of Caligula, Tiberius, Commodus, and Nero--all the excesses that are as risible as they are hideous!

Decadence is madness!

Western Civilization is decadent. It has gone mad.

One wonders if this would have happened if Mr. Folau happened to be a devout Muslim?

Brilliant.

I’ve been saying, don’t make this about “conservative values” because that is seen as a political perspective, which has no legal protection. You must, explicitly, make it about being Christian - then you can argue religious discrimination.

The left wants to keep it political, our only protection is to align with Christ.

Require all players to wear tight shorts, that way you’ll know who to avoid in the scrum.

“drunks, homosexuals, adulterers, liars, fornicators, thieves, atheists and idolaters”

Notice none of the other groups were offended, just the gays who can get triggered over the sun coming up.

The Australian Constitution does not explicitly protect freedom of expression. However, the High Court has held that an implied freedom of political communication exists as an indispensible part of the system of representative and responsible government created by the Constitution. So it covers their governmental representatives, but not necessarily their citizens. And he would have to have signed a contract of some nature saying he would protect the organization to be allowed to compete if for coverage of injuries at the least. He made his decision and whether he’s right or not doesn’t make a difference. He broke the rules.

Every thing we do in the world is theoretical. But if the availability is there, it’s kind of like Murphy.

But Muslims are not prevalent in Australia. From all forms of Islam identified in the country, only 604,200 people, or 2.6% of the total Australian population exists as of the 2016 census. And with the Aussie attitude about treatment of the Bush People, they may not put up with anything in that direction. Your guess is as....

“... a rule-bound people.”

You are correct. But if he is going to make his stand and do it in an honorable way, then don’t do the job. He signed a contract that indicates he is going to follow the rules whether anyone, or everyone, but the league says they are wrong. What he is doing is taking the money under false pretenses. That lacks integrity.

I feel the same way about the NFL and their kneeling, and the other organizations that support them like teams from the WNBA, NCAA football, National Federation of High Schools football: kids as young as 14 are affected, MLB (one player in Baltimore but it got ink), even the German Women’s World Cup Team.

So if you don’t agree with the contract and rules, don’t sign it. Otherwise, you’re a gutless liar.
