I meant that mostly from a human perspective. God knows what each of us will do in our lifetimes and whose names are written in the Book of Life so nothing surprises Him. God knows the hearts of each person and whether their conversion is genuine or not. I know my salvation is genuine even though I fell away for a time (I never renounced my faith - I just stopped walking for about 15 years). At the proper time, God brought me back.

Have you ever noticed how when clergy converts from Catholicism to Evangelicalism there’s always a grudge against the Church, but when Evangelical ministers convert to Catholicism it’s because they discovered how much they thought they knew but didn’t?
The only shame is on you, a heretic (if a faithful RC, as based upon Scripture) calling a former devout weekly Mass-going RC who obeyed the light of Scripture a heretic.

Just where or why do you think I had or have a personal grudge against your Church, rather than my opposition being driven by esteem for doctrinal Truth, as it is with my opposition to cults, Islam , homosexual apologists , etc.
Nor was the conversion of the convert in the OP driven by what you falsely read into my heart.

I actually have no personal grudge against the RCC, in which I do not recall receiving any real abuse or mistreatment while I was one, nor had I any grudge when I prayerfully left (though i found it clearly spiritually deficient after i became born again). And for a long time have been friends with the RCs in my area, though i oppose the JW's who try to convert them. As i would to those who push Catholicism as your type do. Who do seem to have a grudge.
And polls testify that former RCs converts to evangelism do not do so out of personal grudges, but mainly due to experiencing spiritually deficiency therein.

Which insomuch as it is true, is actually an argument for Evangelical faith, since unlike the deadness and perfunctory professions of Catholicism, any real evangelical minister has much more to appreciate.
And as for "they discovered how much they thought they knew but didn’t" that is exactly what I discovered (and show) by becoming a "Bible Christian, while for your converts, from what i have read (like Anders), this refers to making so-called the uninspired writings of "church fathers" determinitive of what the NT church believed. Versus the only wholly inspired substantive authoritative record of what the NT church believed, which is Scripture (especially Acts thru Revelation, which best shows how they understood the OT and gospels). But in which distinctive Catholic teachings are not manifest.
But today i was working on a expose of the Baha'i faith, seeing they are targeting the youth locally here thru their Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program (JYSEP). Unhinged yet crafty delusion. But i suppose that also much be attributed to having some personal grudge, being a "hater" like as so many RCs resort to in attempting to dismiss actual valid Scripture reasons.

It seems that I have a call into apologetics, meaning giving an answer for the faith, and which, due to my upbringing and location, seem to mostly be exercised in regards to Catholicism.
Much of this here has been in reaction to certain RCs who constantly posted articles about their church. Which, in the light of its elitist claim to alone be the one true church, to whom all are to submit, are provocative even by the advertising and promotion of it.
It truly is a shame.
