Nope. Don't, and don't intend to get involved with it again. My belief is there's no such thing as this Rapture; pre, mid, or post.
I’m the original poster - though I didn’t originally bring up the topic on this particular thread.
If you’re a Christian, and you believe in Christ & His Teachings, what is the issue with the Pre-Tribulation Rapture?
Prove it with Scripture. Give me the verses that you believe shoot the teaching down, and I’ll give you mine that support it.
You don’t want to because you cannot prove it.
Try brushing the dust off of your Bible every now and then and maybe you’ll learn something.
But, since you “know everything” - I’ll leave that with you.

There is an old Jewish saying, which probably comes from the tower mode, which states that if someone comes to you while you are planting a tree and very excitedly tells you that the Messiah is here, finish planting the tree before you go to see. Another words, take such claims with a very big grain of salt, because it is probably not true at that moment in time. Jews have been waiting for the Messiah longer than Christians, and not only hasn’t it happened, but many false messiahs have come in the interim. Just be careful, that is all.

But what if someone comes to you while you are sitting under a fig tree and tells you the Messiah is here?
Today is the Feast of Trumpets, and it reminds Christians that Christ is coming again. He will come with the “trumpet of God” sounding.
Because His death, burial, resurrection, and the coming of the Holy Spirit all happened on the Spring Feasts of the Old Testament, I expect His return to be on the Feast of Trumpets, followed by the other two Fall feasts, during which there will be a national repentance of Israel.
Contrary to those who advocate an any moment rapture, I believe the signs in the Olivet discourse tell us what the final generation can expect before Christ’s return. This includes a time of deception and false peace, war, famine, disease and natural disasters, persecution of Christians, and the abomination of desolation in which the Antichrist sets up a throne in the third temple in Jerusalem and demands the whole world to worship him. This will be followed by the worst persecution the church has ever experienced, and faithful Jews and other Gentiles who refuse to submit to antichrist worship or receive his mark will be hunted down and killed.
But this campaign of terror will be interrupted by God through cataclysmic signs in the sky, including meteors that force people to hide underground and a simultaneous eclipse of the sun and moon (due to the presence of some yet unknown object coming near the earth). Immediately after this Christ will come, take His chosen out of this earth, and God’s fiery wrath will be poured out on all those who remain (except for a very few whom God protects).
He visited twice the first time He came to us (born, then risen from the dead, that’s two), so it should surprise no one that He is returning a duet this time.

The message of His imminent return for His own is not for you, it is for those who are fence sitting. As you said, we are ready -oh so very ready. For those not yet His time is growing very short to accept the Grace of God in Christ Jesus. When we are departed, they will have missed something of utmost value.
The blogger conveniently leaves out Luke 17:28 & Matthew 24:37-39. He goes through great lengths to go all around that last one, because it shoots down his theory of immenency. Just like Noah’s escape from the Flood, Lot’s escape from Gomorrah - and then the Church’s escape from the Time of Jacob’s Trouble.
And it also looks like he confuses the 2nd Coming with the Rapture - way too common.
John 14:3; Psalm 83:3; 1 Thessalonians 5:4; 1 Thessalonians 5:9; and last but not least Luke 21:28, where he says, “When these things begin to happen, look up, for your redemption draws near.”
Why did He not say, “When these things are completed, look up, for your redemption draws near?”
I have a friend who is an electrician. He occasionally drives by my house and turns on his CB which he can ganag up to cause my speakers on my stereo and computer to broadcast his ‘Hey guy!’ If I had a headset on not plugged into anything, they too would receive and broadcast.
Bottom line is redemption/salvation does not depend upon the belief in this Rapture thing. Those that do, fine. Those that don’t, fine.

Your blindness will eventually be lifted. The first Christians were Jews and thousands were added on Pentecost and thousands thereafter as God added to the Ekklesia. You will have the blindness lift, eventually.
