First mention of witches in the Bible:
Exodus 22:18
Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
As a general rule, I’m against “cruel and unusual punishments” but perhaps exceptions should be made for people like Aaron Leighton.
Bring back witch hunts.
Isaiah 5:20
“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20
“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
I guess it’s worth repeating
Every now and then FR has a hiccup in the system
Contradiction in terms.
“Contacting demons is easy - just write or email your local democrats. Just like other demons, once you contact them, its hard to make them go away. Bonus: Both groups of demons worship and serve the same master.”
I love you guys.
I’m stealing that btw.
That’s what we’re here for (and we all love you, of course).
Beetlejuice ! Beetlejuice ! Beetlejuice!!
Dang. Nothing (grin)
Historically how many of those accused were in fact witches? My ancestress was a widow with a prosperous farm and some means who was accused by a neighbor whom she refused when he proposed marriage. She is also thought to have secretly been a Roman Catholic, which is why she would not say where she really was at the time she was accused. Telling would have endangered others including the priest. There was no evidence she was a witch.
Please remove me from this list. I have asked several times in the past.
I agree with Morgana. You may want to warn the others.
When was that because I don’t recall seeing a request from you like that *several times*?
You were only on the homeschool list and that rarely gets pinged out.
I checked and removed your name from that list.
Perhaps those openly declaring themselves to be witches would be a start. Or, at least those publicly advocating Satanism.
I was only being facetious about witch hunting, but I am particularly concerned with children being targeted, recruited, and groomed for evil. Clearly there have been times when hysteria outpaced reason, but men like this author would not lightheartedly target such content to children if they had a healthy fear of consequences.
This is extremely dangerous and will lead to very bad things. Read Deuteronomy.
