Rev. Theodore Hesberg started the leftist march to what Notre Dame is today, which is a shame since he was a nice man, but a complete dupe of the Marxist Left..
One of their research groups, funded by the Kroc Family, is headed by a well-known Hanoi Lobby activist/veterans wing.
Unfortunately my information on his is buried under dozens of file boxes but the name “David Cortright” sound about right. He was a leader in the Communist Party USA “Mobe” successor faction known as the “Peoples Coalition for Peace and Justice” (PCPJ).
He was also a leader of SANE/Freeze when the Marxists took both organizations over, as well as being involved in the Tom Hayden/Hanoi Lobby lovefest held in a church in DC in about 2017.
If this is wrong, I will correct at this article’s FR site in the future.

My late grandfather was a well-known professor at Notre Dame. He wouldn’t recognize the institution today.

Individuals and organizations that know, understand, teach, and LIVE the Catholic Faith as it existed prior to the Satan Council’s destruction of it are Catholic. All other individuals and organizations that proclaim to be Catholic, and that think they are Catholic, are not. That would include almost the entirety of present-day Catholicism throughout the world.

That's exactly the sort of subject Satan teaches. Trust in each other, how to build trust in man, how to avoid wrongdoing (but no moral absolutes). Satan is all about man's ability.

I’m sorry to hear of your traumatic experience, and I agree with all of your comments. I too left the church when the Holy Tridentine Mass was destroyed and replaced by the Protestant-inspired Novus Ordo. Eventually I discovered the existence of so-called Latin Mass communities and immediately returned to Mass and the sacraments in Washington and Baltimore. After retirement I moved out to the Allegheny mountains where there is no Tridentine Mass closer than 100 miles from home. I check all the locations of the Latin Mass and attend same whenever I’m traveling close to where they are located.
I thought ND was a religious school, apparently not. Of course when they invited Obama there we all knew what they are.
And Notre Dame? It turns my stomach.
