So what? The book of Hebrews makes clear the days of sacrifices are over. Progressive revelation doesn’t go backwards.

A story like this comes up every couple of years. As I understand it to be the exact perfect “kosher” red heifer, it can’t have even a single strand of hair of another color.
Sort of like counting straws on 1000 brooms.

However, if a black or white calf is born to her, it can no longer be considered a red heifer.That's a silly sentence. If it has a calf - it won't be a heifer any more.

Jewish translations use ‘cow’ instead of ‘heifer’.
Makes no difference, as the ashes of previous red cows are needed to purify the priest who is preparing the next red cow.
