So did Martin Luther. And saints have had visions of him burning in Hell.
Good luck to you.
“And saints have had visions of him burning in Hell.”
LOL! Must’ve had been that midnight snack.
Yet the heretic took it upon himself to change God's very words.
Bergoglio does the same.
Do you believe all Protestants go to Heaven?
I think the Orthodox have you beat on your set of rules....
But those aren’t a Scriptural set of rules, so as far as I am concerned, you all are trying to dribble on the basketball court with a football.
Mistaken.
Here is the result of unScriptural visions.... and, no, B Hinn is no Protestant. He's a Remonstrant heretic at best.
“Yet the heretic took it upon himself to change God’s very words.”
Where?
If you’re thinking the “alone” word, you’re mistaken.
“Do you believe all Protestants go to Heaven?”
Of course not! That’s just crazy talk.
But don’t you all claim to have “faith alone”?
Gimme a "P"!
Gimme a "O"!
Gimme a "P"!
Gimme a "E"!
What's that spell?
POPE!
POPE!
POPE!
That's your pope!!!
He's the one!
Yeeaaaaahhhhh...... Frankie!!!!!
Oh, he’s one of yours, allright.
Are you related to Benny Hinn?
“But dont you all claim to have ‘faith alone’?”
“You all” is quite broad. Separating people in to denominations or faith types is a distraction; it means nothing. The only way to go to Heaven is for a person, on his own, to make the decision to accept Christ as his personal Savior. The church he attends makes no difference. However, once that personal decision has been made he naturally would seek out a church that preaches the Gospel.
I’m sorry, but I thought anyone who believes in Luther’s “faith alone” is saved.
That’s all I’ve seen in the years I’ve been of FR.
So why even go to "church"?
“So why even go to ‘church’?”
Attending a church isn’t mandatory, but it’s a good thing to do, per Scripture.
“Hebrews 10:25, KJV: ‘Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.’”
Joining together with other like-minded believers in Christ lifts up everyone and provides support for each other. Christians gathering together makes it possible for them to learn from each other, especially newly saved learning from the more “seasoned” Christians so they can grow in the faith.
Even though I was raised where church membership was important but not mandatory, I’m not an official member of my church. I have been a member, but am not now. I don’t see it in the Bible. If/when that can be pointed out to me, I’ll happily join.
So you reject the Third Commandment?
Really? Third Commandment has nothing to do with church attendance.
The unrepentant baby-killer, George Tiller, while serving as an usher during a Lutheran church service was assassinated.
He apparently had "faith", but is the baby-killer in Heaven?
