Soneelse on another forum said the following Their words, not mine:

“Until the Catholic Church cleans its own house, not a one of those people should speak ill of another Christian sect.

And as for the cruel hell of fire that awaits all heretics - yeah, sure; that fire won’t be there for holy inquisitors, popes that abused their office and played politics, or priests who abuse parishioners.

Traditional Catholic representatives are among the most smug, arrogant, thick-headed, pseudopious assholes I’ve had the displeasure of discussing religion with.”

Do we know that Sister Micheli vision wasn’t hearsay that popped up after her death?

I could say the same about you and your ilk, but I won't.

Luther the greatest heretic? No that would be Mohammad. Unlike Mohammad, Luther never denied Christ’s resurrection., or the Trinity, or Christ as the Son.

Muhammed was never a christian.

So he never became a heretic.

There are people who suspect that he may have been affiliated with the Syrian Church in some way.

So you're a mind-reader now?

Such arrogance!

You’ve already told me what I think.

I don't believe that at all. But, if he was, he became an apostate, not a heretic.

That leaves your Martin Luther as the greatest heretic.

Thank you again Gamecock for posting such a positive and encouraging thread about a man who God moved to rediscover the gospel of the grace of God. He and the other Reformers helped to enlighten millions of souls who diligently sought to know God and the truth about Jesus Christ that had been hidden by the false and accursed gospel of works-based religion. Their efforts are still bearing fruit to this day. I look forward to sharing their company in heaven for eternity!

I don’t follow Luther. He told people to follow Christ in the Word,

Jesus said:

“Sanctify them by the truth. Your Word is truth.”

But your papacy DEMANDS obedience to it’s idiotic pronouncements and encyclicals and bulls and obligations and indulgences and devotions.

I left the RCC.

God saved me from hell AND from the RCC, all at once, by faith alone in Christ alone.

“.... and He established only One, True Church.”

Sorry, even the Orthodox have you beat on that one.

Following your “apostolic logic” (and I don’t), Rome is a schismatic sect from Orthodoxy.

___

By the way, following the apostles means following the OT and NT. Nothing more nothing less.

AXIOM

If you accept Vatican 2,
you think your church is alive.
If you reject Vatican 2,
you admit your church is dead.

COROLLARY

If you accept Pope Francis,
you think you have a pope.
If you reject Pope Francis,
you admit your pope is fallible.

If that's what you think, why aren't you Orthodox?

Why do you prefer a false "church", created by a "flawed" man?

So what do you call the millions of pre-Vatican II Catholics?
