I think you are about right. The Eternal Word of God was eager to incarnate as soon as the Living Ark of the New Covenant was prepared.

)neVike;

Yes, quite detailed and thorough look at the question. Agrees with every opinion I learned from discussion.

Disciples ranged from 13+ to 20+ but more likely not much older.

We see old men pictured as Jesus disciples in iconic paintings, but that is just an atists interpretation, and if it were true, then they, the old men, would likely not have been able to spread the gospel from Israel to India and to Britannia as it is suggested by credible account.

Example, if Peter was in “Babylon” around the mid 60s ( as the scriptures tell us, it appears), and he was the same age or older than Jesus, then he by simple math have had to be in his 60s or 70s. But, if he was 15 or 20 years younger, then in his mid forties to 50s, an older man but not necessarily in his dotage and still able to travel....

Great example of how context and cultural understanding sheds light on the truth of the Word.

Interesting write up with some good information, but way to many ‘if’, ‘may’, ‘might’, and suppositions. If it were important, the scriptures would have told us their ages.

If it were important, the scriptures would have told us their ages.

Actually the Scriptures do. Just do your own investigation and you will see that students of Rabbis, like students of Prophets in the Old Testament were always young boys in their teens.

It's the erroneous teachings of educators and painters who have since distorted what we already should know from the Scriptures.

It's like the way we do our children a disservice by holding them back for so many years. It is a modern thing to force humans to be children at such an older age. We think that man's knowledge is so superior that we do them a service by holding them back. Then we wonder why their hormones rage at the age they do. When throughout history we were marrying and having children much much younger than we consider normal.

You think it is abnormal for a 15 or 16 year old teenage girl to get pregnant, or that its abnormal for a 15, 16, or 17 year old boy to desire such girls?

We do so because we want them to get educated and have better jobs. Well here we are with a bunch of idiots educated to be stupid, while still having babies at a young age, but out of wedlock, with our blessings.

Me thinks we should have left things as they were when we forced them to get married at the age their hormones started raging instead of saying, I think you should stay in school a few more years, then go to college afterwards. Meanwhile, love who you are with if you cannot be with the one you love, and we can just suck out that mistake in your womb.

We claim we are so much more enlightened. NOT!

Read the Scriptures and you will see, they actually were smarter back then than we are now. A time when teen boys were the disciples of Tutors, Rabbis, and Prophets. Oh some were older like Peter, and Matthew, but most were in their teens. If a teen was not smart enough in what Rabbis and Prophets were looking for, then the teens were forced to go to manual labor jobs. Like being a fisherman, farmer, carpenter, or a mason etc. etc. etc. Something today we refer to as on-the-job training or apprenticeships.

It wasn't all that long ago, College was meant for those who can do book studying. The rest went to work. Nowadays, we brought into the leftists idea that everyone needs to go to college. They did so because they had to find a way to get the real ones who work to buy into Socialism, instead of Capitalism which hard work drives into the mind. So now we have children of hard working men, voting for liberal college professor types who would die if they got lost in the woods.
