I was up in Morningside Heights in Manhattan for an appointment a couple years ago, saw a beautiful Gothic Church, and decided to check it out.
It was St. John the Divine, which is actually, by square footage, one of the largest Churches in the world.
It turned out to be an Episcopal Church, so of course, they had to prove they were profane and ridiculous somehow. At this particular time, they had taken out most of their pews to hang a giant metallic dragon from the transep and nave, the featured art of some Chinese artist.
There were Muslim-oriented services at two different Episcopalian venues, one in S.F. and a different one in Pasadena. I occasionally walk by Grace Cathedral in S.F., and they can always be counted upon to have the place draped in some leftist cause du jour: LGBT pride, BLM, etc. As a Catholic, though, I can’t feel any sort of triumphalism at their sorry state. Where the Episcopalians were 40 years ago is to roughly where the Catholic Church is now. The Episcopalian/Anglican model (sexually liberated, LGBT-dominated clergy, a compliant partner of the secular left) is clearly seen as a something to emulate by Pope Francis and his minions.
How soon will they now add the worship of Asherah and Baal to the church services? Might as well go whole hog and add the burning of babies on the altars.
Booo to bs
they did a long time ago..man knows nothing of God sadly..all talk and bs walk..
Note: It is difficult to turn the other cheek after they cut off your head.
