This will not end well.
The Mennonites want to collapse just as badly as the United Methodists do.
So, the Mennonite Church USA is no longer a Christian church.
I never thought of the mennonites as woke until now.

Isn’t a “demonination” a group of churches with a set of shared core beliefs, and how can a group remain united with each other while similtaneously not sharing certain core beliefs? I amticipate that this decision will in time result in a formal split among the Mennonite Church USA. Churches that keep to the older rules will first not be welcoming to Mennonte pastors of churches that go the new way, and their congregations will move apart from each other as well. I don’t see how just “being Mennonite” will keep them together.
Retire “guidelines”? How about the Bible?

A simpler and completely honest renaming would be Canaanite.
Well, there goes any claim they had that they were practicing some more traditional or authentic form of Christianity.
I can proudly say I am a lapsed Mennonite.
