agitators join and take leadership in many organizations, this is probably one of them...
unions for example, churchs, school boards....the Bar association, the AMA.....
they don't speak for all the members because most members are busy working and living their daily lives....
hopefully, congregations will quit the main church body....

Retire “guidelines”? How about the Bible? Agreed. But even in Christian churches, when is the last time any of us have heard a sermon on 1 Thess 4:1-8?
"Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God; for you know what commandments we gave you through the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit."

"Mennonite Church USA Executive Director Glen Guyton wrote a piece saying that doing so would not force member churches to perform same-sex marriages or have openly gay clergy."

Mennonite Church USA Executive Director Glen Guyton should also write3 a piece describing how they are ignoring God’s word and inviting His wrath

Seems like churches, instead of offering a product to a polytheistic population, have decided to be polytheistic themselves.
It makes no sense. You don’t mix wine and offer it as yours. It is not only untrue to your wine maker but it also is theft and take over of others’ wine.

Will they allow straying from their plain clothing into the flamboyant stuff?

Putting the “Men” in the Mennonites. In more ways than one.

Mennonites do not necessarily wear plain clothes. You are thinking of the Amish. Some might, but except for the women’s head covering, you would just think the woman was conservatively dressed. Just like the Baptists, there are MANY different congregations of Mennonites, some more liberal or conservative than others
To: MurphsLaw
You are correct, I had it wrong, but it was a long time ago.
To: SeekAndFind
Wow, I do they still call themselves Christians??

No, you are right.
I had to check, and I had it wrong.
A few years back our neighbors over in PA- specifically Lancaster-
had split from the Mennonites Umbrella-
but they were the "Lancaster Mennonite" group who actually had split off from the "National" Mennonite organization-
Who I thought at the time were the "Amish" of Lancaster- but I guess there are Mennonites there as well. Ignorance on my part.
So it was Mennonites that split off from Mennonites 4 years ago when the homosexual spirit creeped into that world...

"Executive Director Glen Guyton should also write a piece describing how they are ignoring God’s word and inviting His wrath. It would seem Director Guyton, much like the rest of our nation, no longer fears God or his wrath.. I think we're all in for a rude awaking. It's getting close to payback time...
