Father, we need Your help, for we confess that America must repent of its moral depravity. We are delving deeper and deeper into the pit, and You are the only way out. Help us to turn from our evil ways, Lord. Repentance must start with each one of us. As individuals, help us to hold ourselves to the highest standard---that of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Help us to share the love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness of our Savior with others. Help us to remember the Cross always. Father, You have promised to preserve all who love You. Help us to speak the praise of our Savior, and let all flesh bless Your Holy Name forever and ever. Call the people of this nation to bow before You and may our mouths confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. May the Church rise in obedience and stand for Your truths at every level of our lives.
