Why pride? Why does this bunch desperately need affirmation of their choices? Because they are deeply ashamed of what they are doing, and need to hear other people tell them how great they are.

Oh, it is definitely Biblical that they chose that for their symbol. Ironic, since most activist, radical gays either don’t believe God exists or are anti-Christian. But in true hypocrite left style... it’s A-OK for them to ‘culturally appropriate’ God’s symbol of His promise as their icon.

The more insecure the affinity group, the longer stretch of recognition time they need to convince themselves that they’re just wonderful. Not surprising there’s only a Mother’s Day in the same society that puts forth a “Pride” month - just grateful it’s not a “Pride Spring”, though I wouldn’t be surprised if things were headed that way.

These people have experienced trauma in their lives. Trauma led to their deviant sexual desires. Many would have given anything to be normal instead of how they found themselves. For the non-activist, the pride movement is about these people coming to terms with who they are, which is a tiny minority, shunned by society.

I would argue that most if not all did not CHOOSE to be LGBT whatever, but they DO choose whether or not to act on those impulses and how to act on them. The worst activists want to normalize the trauma of their childhood in order to legitimize their wounded selves. And then there are those who are simply exploiting these people to the downfall of Western civilization.
