Not to get too biblical on you but Israel is a separate nation. “Palestine” was a political creation made up of people Jordan and/or Syria did not want. Whether the Romans or the Brits did the deed, there is no such thing as a “Palestinian” people.
It is a imposed political construct.

When you arbitrarily create countries of mixed peoples it generally doesn’t work out.
They are loosing power with the normalization of Israel through, in part, the Abraham accords. This may not be the last gasp of hamas but I think many in the Arab Islamic world want the end of this mess and see benefit in working with Israel. If they are following the old ways taking prisoners and maybe slaves is not out of the question. If Israel gets them back it will be very messy.
These vile thugs and murderers depend on the mercy of people more civilized than them. I hope they meet with many “accidents”, because that is what all these cold-blooded murderers deserve. And remember 9/11. Why is the killer Khalid Sheikh Mohammed still alive?

It’s an attractive idea, but Israel has unwisely signed the 1949 Geneva convention that forbids resettling civilian populations.
