For the moment, lets just assume sub could hold 5-6 people, and have "reasonable" cost. Or possibly up to 20 people for tourism with a range back to dock of 15 miles?

I thought we were going to be serious in this day dream exercise.
I’d want a submarine that was very quiet, had lots of ICBMs and nuclear torpedoes.
I won’t say what I would do with it other than put it to good use for something besides tourism.

One of my goals when I was a teenager was to build a self-sufficient underwater colony. If I had a submarine, I’d be very tempted to find some place outside any country’s jurisdiction and try to make that happen.
