Thanks. I was looking last night for the ones you and Phil had posted for me back in June or July but couldn't find them. :(
I'll keep this one now so I don't lose it. :)

1st Armored Division
Dedicates Dining Facility
to Bob Hope This will be a place for soldiers to relax, joke with friends, tell stories and watch a little football, said Dempsey. It will host the USO shows that Bob made famous, and it will help keep those smiles on the faces of the next generation of American soldiers, doing their duty far from home.
What a wonderful tribute to Bob Hope! He brought smiles to so many troops over the years and will be missed by all. Though he's gone, his memory will live on for many years to come.

Hubble Space Telescope COOOOOOL site, ms. feather! The Hubble Space Telescope pics are fascinating, aren't they?
Hubby and I broke out our telescope last night to peek at Mars for a bit. A thin layer of high clouds kept us from seeing much detail but we could make out the polar ice cap well.
There won't be any viewing around here tonight. Rain and t-storms. Agaaaain. *sigh* Slipping in now, between storms, to catch up on things here at FR. :-)

Hi radu. Big thunder boomers here as well today, hot and humid, on and on. Ugh!
To: snippy_about_it
Hi snippy.
It was a sauna here this morning before the first storms hit. Thankfully it's cooled off since. I guess that's a good trade-off.
They just keep me from spending much time on the 'puter. I just get going good and the rumblings start again....like now. LOL!

Dry as a bone here radu. Have not had rain in a spell now.
I love the Hubble Space Link . The pictures are gorgeous!
Hey haey good to see you!! It's daylight did you know that??? LOL
To: radu
LOL. I know what you mean. I was racing to finish some work for the Foxhole this morning as they were rumbling in, lots of lightning and all just as I needed to hurry and leave for my 'day job'. It's been one strange summer.

Hey backatcha, ms. feather.
We had several dry days (don't know how THAT happened. LOL) but they're forecasting wet weather through the weekend. Figures.
It's daylight did you know that???

hehehe....I was going to do some grocery shopping this afternoon but changed my mind. Nothing worse than bringing in soggy bags of cat food. LOL!
It looks like things may calm down tonight so I'll go out then. At least this rain is keeping me inside where it's cool. It's a nice break from the typical Aug. heat we've been "enjoying" in TN. pant..pant...pant

I loved them too.
Vincent Price may have been odd in more than one way, but he was quite the sci-fi/horror actor.

I always saw Price as the "King of Campy B-Flicks", but as a kid "House on Haunted Hill" creeped me out!
