The employer is able to freely chose to offer certain benefits or not.

Incorrect. I cannot offer health insurance or other benefits to people of a certain race only. Or people who are married to only tall girls, or fat girls, or white girls, or black girls. I cannot discriminate on those basis'. If I only offer it to some, I could be sued for discrimination sucessfully.

You will still have the ability to voluntarily chose to offer spousal coverage or to voluntarily not offer it.

But not for just some. One or the other. And that would change.

You clearly stated that you will not offer it.

Only because I can't discriminate. I would if I could, like I do now.

That is a voluntary decision and it is your right to do so.

The right to do it the way I choose would be eliminated.

This seems so obvious I can't believe I am explaining it again, and again, and again, and again......

Immediately read of Western European history from the German support of Lenin's 1917 Revolution; they thought Lenin was just another socialist rather than the mass murderer fascist he was - establishing the system for Stalin. Then Hitler was duly elected and his legislated "emegency powers" loosed upon the world as WWII.

Clinton gave himself similar Hitlerian dictitorial "emergency powers" Hillary will need to rule.

The socialism movement formed from 1910 to 1935 set the gold standard on just how coniving the paranoid criminally corrupt power lusting politicians are.

Politicians will kill to make a point, as at Mt. Carmel one month after Bill & Hillary took office. The police state is the Clintons' friend.

Our Constitutional Republic has been under attack from within since FDR's socialist first term. WWII saved the Democrat socialist/communist machine. Judicial tyranny was made safe and so far is safe to rule us at will. Never think that the DNC-Politburo is not very well coordinated in and out of blackrobes. As an economist, I believe that at least 1/3 of Americans think that they want to live in a command economy. Our electorate is now both stupid and election processes corrupted.

We may have a civil war thrust upon us during this islamist Terror War because of long-term "declared Emergencies" protected by "compelling State interests" so ruled by conspiring courts. Think police state powers. Politicians do.

"Incorrect, any homosexual that works for me could not get free medical insurance for his or her gay lover."

I agree. However, the employee has the right to find a different employer. One that does offer the benefits they desire. Because of that they can get the "benefits" that they desire. You are ignoring this FACT.

This fact shoots holes in their arguments regarding a right to "benefits". They already have the right to find an employer that offers the "benefits" they desire, therefore their argument is meritless.

Instead of using this information as a weapon to squash their agenda you are arguing with me based on a narrow view of your own employer/employee relationship. Your narrow view gives the gay community ammunition to use to implement their agenda.

I prefer to discredit their arguments instead of just using blanket statements to say it is just wrong. Yes, I believe the lifestyle is wrong, however that moral stance isn't enough to battle an agenda driven degredation of our society.

I agree that your choice would be limited, I agree that discrimination would lead to potential lawsuits. That can only happen if the legalization is allowed to occur. My points discredit their arguments to ensure that it doesn't happen. Why attack me for discrediting their arguments?

Once again I ask, what content of my posting warranted your asking me if I am a homo? The blatent ignoring of this question, shows that you attempted to personally attack me.

Hey. Man marries donkey, woman marries dog should be allowed too. Man marries rock and 6 year old girls should be allowed too (might make the slammies happy -- after all that's what Mad Mo did!) </sarcasm

You need to change your profile as you clearly believe in personal attacks and you don't believe in two sides to every issue.
