I'll say it again. You're not Catholic anymore. And actually, as a practicing Catholic, I'd appreciate you not calling yourself one and making a bad example for the rest of us.
Thanks.

You may want to hit Confession again, to ask forgiveness about lying that you are a Catholic.

....maybe not a Catholic....just a Christian? After all are't all religions man made? I can't find one religion, including Catholic, in any bible....so let's just stop the vitriol as to who is and who isn't a catholic and start having positive christian concern. Just My opinion....
Silliest thing I've read all month. The original poster was calling himself a Catholic. Not just a Christian, but a Catholic. It stands to reason that he might want to actually be what he is calling himself.

What a nice post. Offering to help Kristian to find a way to once again practice his/her faith rather than pontificating about who is the 'better' or more real Catholic. Kudos to you! You truly practice your faith by your action.
In reading this thread, no one was saying anyone was better than anyone else. Original poster admits to renouncing his Catholic faith, not stepping foot in a Catholic Church in decades, and not having to do with the Catholic Church. Yet calls himself a Catholic.
People were merely setting the record straight. The original poster is no more Catholic than I am a Hindu.
Now we are blaming Catholicism for the problems of Latin America?

You say you are not claiming to be a better Catholic, but only setting the record straight, but your words above do slam this person's faith. I hold with my compliment of the poster I responded to in that they were offering Kristian a means to return to faith. Neither you nor I have any way of knowing the heart of Kristian. Only God knows that.
Jesus would not have selected anyone with this attitude to be his Apostle. (Thank Heaven).
